but she got the paris is burning bit wrong. Paris is burning is NOT about the "emergence of drag in NYC in the 1990s". Ball culture is NOT about drag. Drag is one element to it but its more about trans folk in different categories not exclusive to drag.
Alright I haven’t watched the interview yet but here are my predictions 1. Creating magic 2. Inner sabateur 3. Everyone should try drag once 4. Working keeps the voices at bay Edit: Well 0/4 😂, this was really a great interview 👏
"I want to hurt them...in a mental way...that they could never recover from. And people don't know that about me..." I bet he's gonna regret that episode of the podcast for the rest of his life.
1:29 The performer on the left is almost completely nude. I am very surprised you featured this clip in your news story. It is a very adult image. Also, the vast majority of drag performers do not perform in such a scantily clad manner.
and im a naturally kind person. i get in trouble for it allot because im always trying to defend everybody and i have put myself in dangerous situations like i dont understand what what bystander effect is. When i was in bootcamp i use to amaze and annoy my recruit drill commanders. like i tried to be mean cause i would get bullied but it was like that 30 seconds to mars song. "i tried to be someone else, but nothing seems to change i know now this is who i really am inside finally found myself finally for a chance i know now, this is who i really am." Im a door mat i dont have it in me to be anything but selfless so much so that i stay away from people for my own well being.
This is not fake kindness. It's just that Rupaul doesn't feel the need to adopt every single person in the entire world. No one owes others a bunch of sweet gooey ick.
The interviewer killed it ❤❤❤ "ok im gonna sashay away"

He was KIND to allow her to be in the finale after acting like a spoiled brat.

It’s a silicone body suit. There is such a thing.
Get over it. Jesus.
Miss Thing clocking Ru as a He from the first second. Shady lady trynna get cute for the straighties
He wants to be referred to as "he" when he is not in drag. And it's proper and appropriate to refer to a drag queen not in drag as "he". Learn!
Kind??? Ask some of the "guurrls" on RDR. Lol.
Yes, then ask all the other girls what they owe Rupaul for making them international stars.
What is this fake kindness persona 😂
Right???
dali lama energy. but same energy his whole career since the 80s hes been preaching the same thing so atleast hes consistent.

The pendulum goes far right, and then left... I guess never far left. Hmmmm🤔
I caught that one, too. It's simply living in denial.
Right. Because we didn't have Obama in the White House for 8 years. *rolls eyes*
Miley, yes omg. Thst new duet with beyonce. ❤
