This is going to be a long response to your question of why Chan wasn't in Take Me Higher: Since A.C.E is a small group from a very small company, it's hard for them to gain recognition in Korea. As a result, all 5 members went to survival shows in the end of 2017 to try to promote A.C.E's name. Byeongkwan (Jason), Donghun, and Wow went to a survival show called MixNine while Jun and Chan went to a survival show called The Unit. They went to different shows because that gave them more exposure to different audiences. Donghun and Byeongkwan actually made it to the debut team in MixNine but YG, the person who created the show, was a dick and cancelled their debut. Chan, on the other hand, made it to the debut team in The Unit and so he got to debut in a temporary boy group called UNB which is why he wasn't in the Take Me Higher video. He's back with A.C.E now though as his time with UNB has ended. Again, they only went on the shows to promote A.C.E and give them more exposure, which thankfully it did. Fun MixNine facts: Out of 100+ contestants, Byeongkwan finished in the 4th spot, Donghun finished in the 8th spot, and Wow finished in the 11th spot. Wow was afraid he was going to get eliminated in the beginning of the show, but after his first performance, he had the highest rank jump out of all contestants in MixNine. Fun The Unit facts: Out of 100+ contestants, Chan finished in the 9th spot and was able to secure his debut. I'd say he was the underdog of the show because even we were surprised that he made it to the debuting team. Junhee did amazing on the show too but unfortunately he wasn't recognized as much and so he finished in the 21st spot, which I still think is amazing.

But because Mixnine's debut was cancelled, A.C.E made a comeback with 4 members, and Black & Blue became a b-side, they also added Dessert for the Byeongkwan-Donghun unit. They did it like this to avoid releasing too many songs without Chan, since he was in UNB, so they only needed to add him in Take Me Higher later. Also, Junhee and Wow made the choreo Black & Blue themselves, that was a fansign version, later they changed some parts for the concerts, and the choreo became sexier 😁 Please watch their dance practices too! (For Callin it's better to watch Dance version of the MV, and for Cactus the video on 1Million's channel. Take Me Higher dance practice is on A.C.E's channel)
They sang "A.E.C" instead of "A.C.E" because it's the right way to write their name in korean/hangul, but in english their name sounds like "Ace", not the spelling of each letter, but the whole word, so it's translated that way. I hope I could explain it right ^^'

They're such a talented group, it's sad to see they're not more recognised. Love ACE! I saw them live last year and their personalities are exactly like this (so fun)! They did a dance cover to an EXO medley when I saw them, and a BigBang one as well!
