As a long time great nature player I play two urjula in my flex spots but definitely going to make some changes to fit the honoly in. Always great to see your perspective on this deck. I’ve found compass lion V to be a good ride target as well for grade 2 gaming. Can’t wait to make adjustments to my list.
I thought about this entire deck +made a similar one, but even I didn't catch that funny OT interaction with that Stride. Man, this list was super fun to watch haha, glad to see Larj Bols is back.
I like how you ran token generators aswell. It's what I found helped alot making advantage for ardillo and because since I ran the rr g2 token generator I was able to make a solid g2 game which could sometimes force the opponent to use heal guards plus working very well against control matchups.

In current climate of everyone and their mothers playing Naru and Maidens, two clans with hand traps that can hit the Rhino or crayon, what are your thoughts behind no lesser writer? Just didn't want to tech the match up? I feel as though there's arguments for space cuts even if its one or two. I also saw the list you took to recent BCS as the BDIF *joke* and wondered why you decided to go from what seemed to be a pretty mixed build to the stream-lined nature of this one- just wondering if you're holding out on some solemn spice for this or was it just too clunky with the one-ofs and danitha and toucan?
- Lesser Writer doesn't do all that much to protect anyway. If Naru uses Impede, you get the choice of what to bind/retire. If Steam uses the backrow nuke, Lesser Writer doesn't actually fix that because those back row units don't necessarily have the success keyword. You simply need to play around Bulwark. Your singular goal when playing GN into Naru is ensuring their first stride is an exterm or a really mediocre stunverse (forcing them into exterm essentially). If you fail to do that, you gotta hope that you can have 2 accels with a Spool Merry+Rhino so they don't get rid of both as easily. If you fail to do that, welp, too bad. Playing an "okay" card (Lesser Writer) that you need to manually draw on top of all the other pieces you already need to manually draw does not fix this matchup, especially at a mere 1 or 2 copies. - I'm not sure which build you saw, but the list I played in France was this exact one but with 2 rollock instead of 2 honoly. I tried both Toucan and Diantha. Diantha I cut extremely quickly because I felt she was just extremely mid (CB too heavy, 5k shield, takes up room) and Toucan ended up being cut because I wanted the soul for Delibelly. My first build was on 1 Deli and the more Deli I played, the less Toucan I played.
Fronts do virtually nothing because turn 1 we have no rears, turn 2 we have no rears, turn 3 we only have 1 standing rear (the restood spool merry) and then from turn 4 onwards we ALWAYS want crits on the restand target.
I tried Diantha and didn't like it. - It's a 5k shield, which is an issue Great Nature has had for soooo long. - It's a CB, which we don't tend to have. Our best turns are 3-4 CB and Bigbelly g3's skill already takes a CB as well (so we're kind of relying on 1 Delibelly to refund that at least). I've noticed lists trying Diantha usually also play Label Pangolin, which is yet another 5k shield and now you're reliant on drawing combinations of combo pieces just to pop off. I do like Diantha for re-using Mikesaburo but Toucan did that well too. If I do the switch trick to not nuke my own crayons, I don't tend to need to recur them. Not a bad card though, just didn't feel very optimal

Drawing cards is simply far too good. Accel 2 is my go-to. Both Spool Merry and Rhino hit the 30 required for Caladrius to be active anyway.

To clarify I’ve really been liking the newish Stoicheia G1 that calls a G3 or less from drop zone
