Nice video, especially on the canyon roads! I just got a new C300 two weeks ago and I really like it. I’m looking forward to getting it on a couple favorite twisty roads soon!
How do you like it? I was considering this or maybe a g70 3.3/ stinger g2. I have alot of freeways in my town and i want something i can accelerate quickly with and do some "enthusiastic driving"
@@justinthibault5314 I love it so far! It’s a very nice car with some cool tech and features. Its base engine is fast enough for me, especially coming from the ND1 Miata I daily drove for over four years. But the 3.3L V6 in the Genesis and Kia is going to be faster, but you’ll pay for that with worse fuel economy. Mine has the AMG Line with sport suspension so it handles decently, too. Really, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these cars!
@@timothycoyne5874 I was set on those 3.3 L until i saw the interior of the new c300. Im all for good performance but man the tech and interior of that car is just top of the line for me. Theres not a better infotainment on the market i like more than the new c300. I was only scared that what it has in tech, it might lack in performance. Granted im not looking to track it or want a 4.0 0-60, but i do like to do spirited driving,
@@justinthibault5314 This new C300 is fast enough for me. Just under 6 seconds 0-60, and cruises easily on the highway at higher speeds. I don’t drive really fast much, but in my opinion the car is quick but not fast. It’s going to be a second slower than the 6-cylinder turbos, but for me the whole package is more important. Honestly, this isn’t the car I thought I’d buy, but I got a great deal on mine, including a good trade value on my old car. Speaking of the old car, I should mention it was an ND1 Miata. It was my daily driver for over 4 years. Not fast but handled very well, including in the twisties, even with the stock suspension. The new C300 handles decently. To me it feels like a slightly smaller car than it is. The steering is kind of light but I wouldn’t say it’s numb. There is a little bit of understeer when cornering hard, but lift off the throttle a bit and the car rotates nicely enough. A 330i will handle better. I test drove a previous generation G70 in the 4-cylinder with 6-speed manual and didn’t really like it. I’ve not driven a Stinger but I know they’re great. But again, judging my new car by the entire package I’m really happy with it.
@@ld9387 not necessarily, he could just test drive at his local dealership and give them a free promotion on how the car works! I’m currently doing that for my second RUclips channel where I drive around Audi cars.
Also, you're driving needs some refinement. Changing lanes should be you signal THEN initiate the lane change, not do both at the same time. The ticket you get for not doing it is 'failing to signal intentions,' not 'failing to signal actions.' You actually changing lanes makes it obvious you're changing lanes. If you need a remedial course in why this is a problem, spend some time watching the "Idiots in Cars" compilation, and note how many people do not give sufficient notice of changing lanes, or view their signal as a RIGHT to change lanes. There's no rush, and avoiding potentially hurting people is all the reason in the world to approach driving a bit more gracefully and gradually.
Nice review but there is one point I just can't get over with. Except for the top part of the dashboard and doors EVERY surface in the interior is made of hard plastic ! Even though the design of the cabin looks quite good this is probably the Mercedes with the cheapest built-in materials ever. If you slide with your fingertips over the middle console, the side panels, the glove compartment or the storage space in the doors, every surface you touch sounds hollow and feels cheap. I have never encountered that in any car above a price range of $ 40000.
Mercedes interiors are slowly losing their elegance just as BMW's exterior designs are getting uglier. From luxurious and classy to ostentatious and gimmicky.
As always, I still loved the new interior for a Mercedes Benz!

No they are not
Older design is much better ( interrior and exteriro
I thought this interior looks the best, but more I look into, it looks unnatural. I prefer the genesis gv70 interior.
at least leave real buttons for climate control for god sakes
