4K 2160p 60FPS Dead/Stuck/Defective Pixel Fix (1 hour RGB flashes)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 16 сен 2015
- WARNING: POSSIBLE SEIZURE CAUSING.
At 60FPS defective pixels should be fixed twice as fast as ordinary 30FPS videos on RUclips.
Flashing among pure red, green, and blue hoping to revive dead/stuck/defective pixels on 4K LCD monitors.
This video must be played back at 60FPS or else the interpolation at other frame rates will screw up the color sequence.
PS There are plugins to your browser that can loop a RUclips video. - Хобби
I love how he put Warning: POSSIBLE SEIZURE CAUSING. in the description so that people with epilepsy will know that after having a seizure
"didn't fix my TV but it got a couple of my teeth knocked out"
Drinking game: Take a shot every time it change color
Hahaha xD
But you're alive.
But all i see is flashing grey
@@experimenteight4550 try playing it at 0.25x speed.
@@experimenteight4550 That's actually a really neat optical illusion. Pause at any time, and I've of the the colors appears! See, red green and blue are the the primary colors of light, and just like how missing red blue and yellow paint makes black (or brown, depending on shade and ratio), mixing RGB in light gives you white! Or grey, depending on shade/ratio.
fixed my pg279q, mines had blue circle stuck pixels on top left corner.. used this video for 30mins.saved me $1000..
thanks, looking everywhere for a video like this, perfect!
i was playing the video to fix my dead pixels, then i realized that the video was about to end, then on the last 10 seconds literally all those dead pixels have gone away :D ty
Paulus Wilhelm did it really work?
Maybe it was you moving the mouse to check the time that made it work :O
@@jesusmonarrez5810 well, the question wasn't for me, but my phone got dead pixels in the bottom 30% of the screen and this video solved it
i have a samsung 4k tv and this actually helped. gonna run it every now and again. it made the most noticeable difference after running it for an hour
Can't believe this worked, my monitor had burned pixels of the windows taskbar for months, 20 mins of video were enough to fix it. You have my like and respect.
Thank you for this video!😃 I had a stuck pixel in my left eye. After staring at this for an hour, it's completely gone now!👍
The pixel, or your eye?
@@MobileComputing the eye
@Mudkip909 oH NO
I never thought this would actually work! Thank you so much! 🥰
Run this on your phone and put it in a Google cardboard
No put it on your phone in google cardboard and glue it to someone's head after they fall asleep at a party, then when they awake...
Don't forget to put it on 2X speed.
Have fun.
KenKen T. No because RUclips doesn't support 120fps so it makes it less alternative (but you could use a razer phone download the video and then put it at 2x)
oculus rif :v
Seizure mode activated
It worked very well on my OLED 55CX...thank you 👌🏾
Ran it for 20 minutes and it took care of a dark spot on my LG C1 OLED.
I had one blue dead pixel and this did fix it
Thank you
how long did u have it on
@@Corkoth55 Lmao! Because dead ones are black not blue hehehe
@Jules Nonexistent.
i have dead pink pixel how to fix it? it didn't worked
Video: warning dont look at the screen
People: OwO
Thanks - Set speed to 2.0 (Thanks Ana Park) and tapped the screen. Fixed in less than a minute.
You guys NEED to hover your hand over the screen! it's super cool...
Energic yea bro
Thank you.
Thx
Just... _beatiful..._
this fxed my hotpixel problem! (then i've switched to 0.25x speed, took some mdma and started my psytrance spotify playlist ;)
you've made my day! THANK YOU!)
Thanks for fixing my frozen screen !! 😭👍
played this in a dancing club. one person seems to really enjoy it
Thank you for this! I had a massive scattering of grey/dead pixles acorss my retina display and this sorted them 👍🏼
how long you have been playing this vedio?
Funcionó perfecto! Gracias
Is this only for 2160 or will this work for 1080 as well? I have a 1080 144Hz monitor that is brand new and I want to test it / stress it a bit. Also, I'm a bit confused, you say must play at 60Hz and 60 fixes twice as fast as 30fps...so 144Hz would be OK and fix twice as fast as 60fps?
IF you have 60z or more this video is twice as fast as 30Fps videos out there. Anything more than 60Hz does not improve the time it takes though :)
Is this good for plasma burn in/image retention?
thanks it works
Thank you for the seizure.
Before i start. SHOULD I LEAVE MY PHONE UNTIL THE VIDEO FINISHES?
it worked
how long do I need to keep the video on for?
When this video is faster at x0.25 speed than an “extremely fast RGB strobe light” at 2x speed
my screen is flashing now with that same speed after I left it for 15 minutes. Keep that in mind!
I watched it for an hour, a good movie, I liked it
I did this for my monitor and now I think I have epilepsy
For people who are asking if this works on things like phones.
This video flips through the colors forcing DLP chips to have a large push on the little mirror actuators. LCD/OLED works differently and does not have the same effects as DLP.
Zenodilodon I dont know a word u said
@@Robert-bm1rt Then you're not very bright.
Actually sometimes LCDs can have some crystals be stuck, showing a ghost of some UI elements for instance on top of a displayed image. This video will essentially repeatedly moves the liquid crystals, and that can help getting them unstuck.
OLEDs though, I don't think it helps at all, but I may be missing something
Put speed to 1.5 times to get some interesting effects.
i just watch these so I can put them up to my eyes
thank you!!
To loop, right click the video and select that option.
I thanks I need this so I can sleep but it takes his time so this will help me
the Best of the Best
Seemed to get that pesky green stuck pixel out of the way at least for now!
Ran this on my iMac and now the screen has a slight flicker/bounce/shake. Not exactly sure how to describe but it's not right now. Help please.
You can´t "revive" a dead pixel, but this may fix stuck ones
For green and purple run it at 2x speed
Really worked for me! Thank you!
unbelievable!!!!!!!
Holy fuck its repaired my eyes im not joking i can read everything now tysm
Shake your phone hard in front of you but don’t move your line of sight. It makes a cool effect.
I fucking tried it and I don't regret at all, thank you
I don't have dead pixel problem. I have a weird glitch. 2 of the games in my library causes 1 pixel to go lime green in the upper left corner of the monitor. Rise of the tomb raider and GTA V. It is persistent and very distracting. None of the other games in my library do this. and I have no dead pixels on my monitor at all, just that weird anomaly.
A good way to get watch time for ur channel
Testing my graphic card xD
Wtf cuando hiciste un vídeo de esto? XD
@Lucas Gawor a
WHAT, PUT IT ON 2X THIS JUST FIXED MY SCREEN BURN REAL FAST
when i wave my hand in front of my screen i can see other colors surrounding my hand lol
record this with 240 fps on iphone 7 is HOLY COW
My video card can only run 4k at 30fps, should I run this at 0.5 speed? Will it still be effective?
I'm not sure, but certainly there are other videos in RUclips's "recommended" list on the right hand side that suits your setup, right?
If you put it on 2x speed you can see the colors better
MY EYES
*If you thinking what new color looks like..* *you got a answer*
I literally played this while recording a video and all the audio was bass boosted, Why?
I bought a brand new 4k monitor and it came with 2 red pixels (suppose they're stuck?) is it fixable? they won't exchange it because this model had to have more dead or stuck to exchange? how long should I play this? and at what speed? thank you
There is no guaranteed fix, I can't even fix the dead pixel on my own monitor. But sometimes it works. Or else you wouldn't find it all over Google. I would say run it for 1 - 10 hours at normal speed (1.0x), unless yours is a 120Hz monitor then you'll need double speed, not sure if RUclips supports that though. Also you can try physically massaging the stuck pixels, again, sometimes it works.
thanks
Will it work with an optoma DLP projector? thanks for your reply.
No idea, sorry. The physics is completely different: Liquid crystals vs tiny mirrors.
it heals my short-sighted
Why do i only see Michael, Trevor & Franklin in this video??
lol imagine watching while being high!!! lmao
i dont even know how to spot dead pixels are they just dark spots or?
Wave your hand in front of the screen for rainbow effect
2x speed be hitting different
is this for black one also
?
AND IT FINALLY WORKS!!!
Why 4k? 720p would upscale perfectly. Just curious.
It almost repair my screen, almost, should i watch it again?
ok it works rhanks
Should I leave him for one full hour or a few minutes?
Acually works ty
oh shit just saw it...
Merhaba benim telefonumun ekranında rengarenk cizgiler var ve ekran kırpıyor gibi ya titriyor gibi bu video işe yarar mı lütfen cevap yazarsanız sevinirim :)
Should I stare at this in full screen while on heroic doses of LSD and mushrooms?
Especially the red & green mushrooms! 😁
Watch this, well listening to the song from the Blade dance club scene
What should I expect on my Android phone with a cluster of dead black pixels?
Probably too much...
will this work for my phone on 2k?
Epileptic people RIP
I played this at 2x speed and saw GOD
same
Holy shit! Instant seizure!
i have got a dead line above my taskbar (system: windows 7 professional copy 7601) will this work?
this is unlikely to help.
If I have stuck pixels all over will it only fix one pair of them or all in one run
+Walton Plays AFAIK there is no way to tell which spot can be fixed and which spot can't be fixed. It is only known that *some* spots can be fixed this way. And yes, in the rare occasion if all your stuck pixels *can* be fixed, then they *will* be fixed in one run. This is very much like broad-spectrum antibiotics: you throw things against the wall and see what sticks. FYI, this can't fix the dead red spot on my monitor. Alternatively, you can try to rub gently on the spot with your finger.
Its work a little i will watch the video again
what can i do if the dead pixel is in the bottom of the screen ?
I don't think there is anything special about the location of the dead pixel. Try to fix it the usual way and if this doesn't work, then... this doesn't work.
Reminds me of flipnote hetena
does it fix black pixel?
huh the flashing colors look white, as they should when displayed at the same time
Can this work with LEDTV? 1080p 60 Hertz?
yes
Huh...funny thing is its working for me 👀. Its not completely gone yet but. But I can't even see the symbols anymore
Is it just me or is the screen moatly grey?
does anyone corrected ips img persistance or burn-in?
Will this work on S7 Edge mobile? I got a black spot, dead pixel on the edge...
did you tried? did it work?
Does it work on iphone 5?
Pause the video and see what color you stop on
Destin J. Harris blue
blue
Green! My favorite color! 😁
red
TheRatGuy green
If you wave your hand fast over the screen you’ll see rainbows. Or you’ll see death.... you choose.
Generally, how long do these videos need to be played to successfully treat your monitor?
20-30 min would be somewhat safe, atleast thats what the Internet says
Literally worked in less than 5 seconds.
Is this work on amoled burn in screen?
To make your screen equally-burned? lol
You fix burn-ins by inverting the color of the burned areas (e.g. your controls).
O melhor
I think this helped one pixel but added another stuck one higher up on the screen :(
