      -100 percent blackout curtains 63 inch long comes in pair (brand 100%blackout shields)
      - Bendable curtain track 5 meter (brand jetec)
      -pleat tape for curtain (brand MJMP)
      -slip on drapery hooks (brand jetec)
      I am new with RUclips wish I can add a link for you. Hope this helps.

      Dai sorry for the late reply but I think you can definitely build one in Nepal, most of the materials I use are regular construction materials and some automotive materials which I am sure you can find in Nepal. I think there are really good handyman in nepal you just have to show them what you want and guide them, they can build anything I think.

    Love the work but I am always amazed by how difficult it seems to be to cover the doors properly...I mean every bit of steel is covered in the van in some way except that of the doors...

    • @sherpamaan
      @sherpamaan  Год назад

      Thank you and you are right especially to trim around the windows. I left the doors the way it is because I like to incorporate the color of the van in my design.

      @koningbolo4700 Год назад +2

      @@sherpamaan I find (with my current van - a MB Sprinter 1998) not covering the back doors pose a heat and cold transfer issue. For instance, when I try to sleep in and I have parked facing east(ish) I notice the early morning sun will heat the doors and the heat is radiated inside in minutes...
      Same with cold weather camping: during the cold nights I notice the door being so cold (due to the masses of exposed metal) I get not only condensation but mainly the van gets really cold and I have a hard time sleeping...
      I am building out a larger sprinter van currently in which I have covered all the metal exposed to the interior with thin plywood. Depending on the location in the van I use thin pieces of foam, rockwool and a vapour barrier to have some protection against heat transfer... Plus a finished door looks better IMHO, even though it is rather challenging to frame and cover around all the bumps and lumps.
      In my case I removed the two windows in the rear door and replaced them with sheet metal and plywood and mounted a single smaller window in on of the doors which makes framing around it very easy...

    • @sherpamaan
      @sherpamaan  Год назад +1

      You can purchase from anywhere, but I would advise staying away from vans that have had multiple previous owners and vans that are used for delivery in the big city and its surroundings. I found my first van on CarGurus, and Facebook Marketplace is also a good place to look."

    • @sherpamaan
      @sherpamaan  Год назад +1

      Thank you for the comment. This van was registered as a passenger vehicle before I did the conversion and still is, when I first bought the van I think I paid around 300 dollars for registration, no plate, including taxes, now I have to renew every 2 years and fee is way less and in Ny if you want to register your diy camper as a recreational vehicle you don’t have to do any kind of test, you just have to have permanent bed, sink and stove, I believe and the insurance will be way less than the regular car. I hope 🤞 this answers your question. Thank you again
