- Oxford University has decided not to consider candidates for its new chancellor based on "the principles of equality and diversity" after being accused of 'wokery'.
Senior politicians accused it of trying to "stitch up" the process so another white male would not get the job.
Sociologist Frank Furedi: says "A lot of people resent this autocratic way of behaviour."

For many, many years Government organisations in Australia have favoured women, indigenous, migrants, LGBTQ+++, over white males ...for high level jobs, even though clearly less qualified, or suitable.
The results have been disastrous. I had so many totally incompetent managers over 20+ years, I could write a book. None was a white hetrosexual male. As a hetrosexual woman, I want the best person for the job!

Prejudice based on experience and facts. I defend British examination based on purported experience and actual facts. And if you can't do the properly defined job (despite woke efforts otherwise) then get some training if you are worth the effort and costs.
It’s about time people started speaking out about this. It’s not only morally wrong, it’s dangerous. Anyone want a DEI pilot flying your plane? A DEI doctor doing your surgery?
There's an interesting video of an interaction between a pilot and Air Traffic Control. Dangerous things said...and in the comments section several who mentioned DEI and safety.
