Rooney vs Parker was very entertaining squash to watch. Parker still a bit tense but he's keeping his emotions in check, kudos for that. It certainly is beneficial to his squash, looks solid and is very enjoyable to watch.

Great final! Rooney showed some real touch and shot selection - one to watch. Parker showed the physical and mental intensity we expect by now and decent maturity, assuming these highlights weren't too heavily edited :)

George Parker really has the potential to be the world #1 or #2 if he can just control his emotions. Rooney is brilliant too though. Not really seen much of him before.

I'm new to Squash (coming from Racquetball) what's the point of keeping the ball on one side for that long, like in 1:04?

I'm no expert by any means, but I believe this tactic is used as: (1) a way to force errors, i.e, first loose ball is pounced on, or (2) a tacit way to conserve energy in a long rally whereby both players play long, high balls down the sides thus reducing physical exertion.

Great game by Rooney unlucky, Parker is an awkward player he practically does the splits every time he plays the ball to try and prevent the other player getting the ball and I have never watched him play without his temper getting the betert of him. He is not a good advert for British Squash!
