I've been watching South Park for a long time (still remember as a kid watching SP on MTV in Poland with other great 90's-00's shows) and I love it for being such painfully honest and deep - in terms of comedy - but I also love the final conclusions of many episodes. This episode (25s4e) IMHO is one of the best ever made! Retro theme was brilliant, Mr. Mackey as spy and hacker just nailed! :D
The DOS thing is funny until you realize Mackey's computer had a fake Linux startup sequence. And that it has 100base 100Base-T networking not dial-up.
This clip is awesome, Wargames is awesome, but the BASIC code to scroll the message is epically legit. I used the same loop to scroll, "I want pizza for dinner", for my mom to see when I was 4 years old. And by golly I enjoyed that pizza so much that night that it inspired me today, 40 years later, to use the word golly in a written sentence for the first time in my life.
