The state is forcing residents to register current types of firearms and no longer allowing for the sale of new firearms. Current compliance is less than half a percentage and I believe there are a number of lawsuits that are being steamrolled.
You can support 2A and not have less combat effective weapons. Full auto really only makes sense for belt feds and SBRs destroy rifle ballistics. I get your point but those products suck.

This potentially has long term implications for the NFA34 itself as a bumpstock is only an accessory, which will also have to cover lightning links and other gun parts that do not meet the definition of firearm in and of themselves. Short term the entire executive branch gets a wrist slap because the executive branch is not allowed to write law, only to enforce it.
