1986 　THE BOOM結成
ストリートライブを経て1989年SONYレコードよりデビュー。
全国ツアー、武道館を経て「島唄」で第35回日本レコード大賞。
紅白歌合戦にも出場。ロンドン、THE GUITAR INSTITUTEに留学。
スイス・モントルーにて「モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル」に出演。
2002 紅白歌合戦に「アルフレッド・カセーロ & THE BOOM」として2回目の出場。
ブラジリアンミュージックを始めとして、ロック、ファンク、オルタナティブなどの ミクスチャーも造詣が深い。
演奏楽器はエレキ、アコースティック以外にマンドリン、カバキーニョ、ウクレレ、ペダルスティールギター、三線。
THE BOOM解散後ソロとして活動を開始。2020年2月には初のソロライブを成功させた。
CM楽曲やギタリスト、プロデューサーとしても活躍中。
Takashi Kobayashi formed a rock band “THE BOOM" which made a major debut in 1989.
He had studied abroad in The GUITAR INSTITUTE of London in 1992.
He has performed on stage “Montreux Jazz Festival" in Switzerland Montreux in 1997.
He plays Rock, Funk, Brazilian music, all alternative mixture.
After starting out as guitarist of THE BOOM, he started performing in a solo project. He also gained experience as a music producer, songwriter-lyricist before taking his career to a new project. He is a versatile player of various musical instruments like mandolin, ukulele and the Sanshin. His skills in playing different types of modern guitars are undeniable which are pedal steel, electric and acoustic guitar.
He guided his first solo live to success in February 2020
