In this chapter of my life I’ve told myself that I’m not dating another man that brings the survival mode out of me, I want to date a man that brings the soft side out of me. Part of being an amazing wife while I'm single is understanding what my husband might be facing so I can intercede in advance on his behalf Even though I haven't met him, I have a duty to him, and him me. The reason why I'm abstinent is to be faithful in advance, waiting until you're in relationship to learn faithfulness is an uphill battle.... you'll wound before you heal and may never get to heal the wounds you were meant to heal because the wounds you cause were too much! Just now hearing the sermon and it’s so powerful! My 4 year old son does not speak due to speech delay and language disorder. Now I understand why because enemy does not want him to speak and this is a spirit. Lord I give my son to you to cast out this spirit and never let it return to him!! Amen!! I watched it by myself and then with the wife. I understood the message, it was great. Sadly my wife didn't grasp everything in the message, she would turn things around saying women do that. My husband and I went through counseling and the one thing that really stuck was start viewing each other through the lens of Christ and to lead with Love first. It has helped greatly. I love these discussions and always have to keep in mind that they are talking about MEN (49:15) who are working towards evolving, who are seeking God and have a personal and progressing relationship with Christ, who are emotionally available, and who are actually adults (not 46 years old stunted with the mindset of a 13 year old, hell bent and unwilling to grow). Those men we can walk with through evolution. But we must pray for discernment to make sure they aren’t ’Projects’ as Jerry calls them but the one we are to Purpose with! I agree about not having the language to express what I'm going thru. I do take time trying to process my emotions and figure it out but sometimes I can't put words to it. I think it is important to have someone you trust with your emotions so you have the room to figure them out. Because you can trust everyone with your feelings not even your spouse. So I think GOD is calling for us to lean on HIM when we don't understand our emotions and we can trust HIM with US

I think this was pretty good! The men made some really good points. I do think there needs to be some caution and care surrounding the topic of women being called to the evolution of man. I think it can subject women to abusive behaviors by men while offering the excuse of evolution.... I also believe that men are emotional creatures; they just may be limited in the expression of their emotion b/c they haven’t been taught or allowed to express it and identify it properly. I know this was for men, but as a woman the message spoke to my inner being so heavy. From the pain as a child to dad not being around to emotional regulation and coming off aggressive. I agree about not having the language to express what I'm going thru. I do take time trying to process my emotions and figure it out but sometimes I can't put words to it. I think it is important to have someone you trust with your emotions so you have the room to figure them out. Because you can trust everyone with your feelings not even your spouse. So I think GOD is calling for us to lean on HIM when we don't understand our emotions and we can trust HIM with US

I think this was pretty good! The men made some really good points. I do think there needs to be some caution and care surrounding the topic of women being called to the evolution of man. I think it can subject women to abusive behaviors by men while offering the excuse of evolution.... I also believe that men are emotional creatures; they just may be limited in the expression of their emotion b/c they haven’t been taught or allowed to express it and identify it properly. Other than that, great job fellas!

For real. I enjoy my Church sermons, but a lot of these teachings just SPEAK . There's so much depth.
Man I'm so thankful for this. When looking for guidance in marriage there is always a point where it seems like people assume the man isn't close to God, isn't doing his part, doesn't have vision etc.. insert miles munroes power and purpose of a man. Not that growth and responsibility arent necessary but sometimes you can have someone that isn't willing to love the man where he is especially when he's creating open space and being vulnerable. It's encouraging to not have the typical checklist of things the man is falling short on and know that there is more than one part of the relationship

I am CHOKED UPPPP! Ive been binging so many of Redefined sermons, and skipped over this one....assumed it was strictly for me. Absolutely not, this is a message for women as well. Gained so much insight on how men operate their emotions differently. The part about not having words to articulate and need a safe space to understand what they are feeling was something I needed to hear. Alot of times I press and say "talk to me! Talk to me! Whats going on!" And I end up frustrated in turn I feel rejected. Now i know to give the safe space. Thank you for this!
