Doctor Doom is many fans' favorite villain because he is someone who you almost want to cheer for. Even though he’s a villain, he has done some real good over the years and there are times that Doom can even persuade you into thinking perhaps he isn’t always such a bad guy. However, the other side to Doctor Doom is that he’s an egotistical maniac whose obsession with always being right and always being the smartest and most gifted man in the room results in him pulling off some truly heinous acts and crimes that shock even his most supportive fans. Today we’ll be discussing the glory and more importantly, the horror that is Doom as we count down the Top 10 Worst Things Dr. Doom Has Done.

The villain with the most commitment and willpower in Marvel, one of my favourites.

Comics one sucked in the recent pheonix storyline he bassically forfieted after one fight
The main lesson to learn from the top spot on this list is that Doom NEEDS a challenge to be satisfied- for him, the greatest punishment is boredom. With nothing to be challenged by, conquest quickly turns to a personal hell...
Being Dr doom must suck honestly. You legit have the power to rule worlds but once you do all that, then what 😑.
So he needs to "lose" fights and whatever to be entertained.
It seems like the most powerful beings are often the most miserable sometimes.
Its sad that in the recent avengers comics dr doom forfeited the pheonix tournament cause he was losing which is so out of character
He also killed fifteen-year-old Cassie Lang (and he felt so guilty about it he used his powers to bring her back to life) It should have been on the list

God Emperor Doom is my favorite Doom ever, the man pulled out Thanos' spine and snapped a Phoenix force Cyclops' neck with one hand.
Not to mention he bitchslapped Black Panther wearing the Infinity Gauntlet
And killed Whis and Beerus
Doom, alongside Magneto, were the absolute best and more dimensional villains, all through the eighties and nineties. Magneto's motives were quite justifiable, although his methods spoiled any "good intention"; Doom was fascinating with all that about him firmly and authentically believing he was the best and only option to bring peace and order to the World.
Sadly, both suffered from the also nineties typical overexposure.
I would say Doom moreso than Mags suffered from overexposure. Remember, Magneto was almost completely absent from 616 from Fatal Attractions 92 on up to well into 97 or 98, unless you count Joseph...

Dr Doom and Magneto definitely the OG's of the marvel universe they villainous ways are unmatched
His relationship with scarlet witch was actually genuine, after discovering her sons deaths she came to latveria to seeks doom help in reviving her sons but accidentally wiped out her memories with her own power, and even after she recovered her memories they were still in love. You guys should study up more.

Ah Doctor Doom, a character who is just a human and yet still manages to be one of the most powerful characters in Marvel. Thanks to his expertise in magic and tech. I love that he also proved that the world would do well under his complete rule, even though everyone would have no free will the world would do well. He’s such a great villain and just recently became my favorite Marvel villain. Not just because of things I just said, but also because Doctor Doom can be a good guy.

I think the worst thing Dr.Doom did was when he married Scarlet Witch when she lost her memory.

Doom is my favorite Villain and character in Marvel i love showing and telling my friends story's about him and why he is probably one of the most OP villains with a crazy origin story to him

I tell the same stories to Latverian children before they go to bed. Their favorite was when i became a god, but then i found that role beneath me.
Magneto is my favorite villain and I understand much of his motivation. Doctor Doom is a true malevolent villain. A whole lot of “or so he says” but doesn’t mean it beyond his self interest.

When Doom encased the claustrophobic Storm in metal. That should be up there.
That was the first doom story I read, his conviction cunning and constant control of the situation regardless of how it seemed made me fall in love with him, he’s now my favourite villain.
What he did to Storm. I don't even have the problem that Storm has, and it is STILL High-Octane Nightmare Fuel for me...
Imagine ruling the world and basically ending all suffering just to get bored of the peace and letting it devolve into chaos again... Doom is an actual OG.
I love this guy. The fact that multiple times it’s mentioned that his rule brings worldwide peace and prosperity is fascinating. And that the panther spirit deemed him worthy was cool too.
But where is the time were he kidnapped Black Widow(Jessica Drew(16) and Spider-Man(Miles Morales(14) and tortured them both via electric shocks in the Ultimate Universe. He got to Miles by having his at the time girlfriend reveal herself and her family as Hydra agents and kidnap him.

Doom stealing the power of the Beyonder and then slaughtering all the heroes when they dared challenge him in the original Secret Wars should make this list. Scary stuff! Even scarier is imaging what Amanda would do if she stole that unlimited cosmic/reality altering power for herself! I don't know why, but I suspect that God Emperor Amanda would be a terrifying thing! If that ever happens, please note that I warned everyone here! 😆

Doom has been on a path of redemption since the 80s, being closer to becoming an antihero then ever before during infamous Iron man. He could have gone the way of Venom and Deadpool, becoming a great Antihero, but the oh so sacred status quo has to return... 🙄 Who needs character development, right?
It's kind of like Lex Luthor in the New52. He saved the world, became a member of the Justice League, he was almost like a good guy. Then he turn evil again.

He's not a villain really. When you know without a doubt that you could turn the earth (possibly the Galaxy) into a paradise... is it really so evil to want to do so?
