In zero 1 the original x was supposed to be the main antagonist but due to the reasons you mentioned that it would be hard for the fans they gave the role to copy x expanding ciel's role as the creator of the copy, plus it gave some more possibilities to work out such as the original X sealing dark elf,copy x leading weil to where you are and weil becoming the leader due to copy x's new rule etc.

Sigma from Mega Man X Maverick Hunter / OVA Day of Sigma is way better, without a doubt the top one for me. He has a calm yet cold voice which conveys a psychopath demeanor, pretty fitting for him since from Sigma point of view, he isn't insane, he is just fighting for Reploids so they can replace humans as the next evolution step. X4 Sigma sounds like an old douchebag who is clearly evil, even during Zero flashback where he is suppose to be the greatest example of a Reploid at the time.
I don’t remember any of the cutscenes besides the ones right at the start, probably because one of three reasons. 1. My PS1 never loaded the cutscenes 2. I never got that far in the game 3. I skipped them all , so I went the whole game thinking the VA quality was the same as the first few cutscenes
I actually think a redub of the cut scenes would be interesting. Don't get me wrong, I love the "so bad it's amazing" voice acting as much as anyone, but I genuinely think it would be interesting if Capcom forked over some cash to redo the acting and the clunky dialogue, now that video game voice acting and localisation are at a much higher standard. Especially if they got Ted Sroka and Johnny Yong Bosch to play X and Zero respectively. They've both played their respective characters in spin off material like Teppen and various Marvel vs Capcom games and imo they both sound great. It would be really cool to hear them both bringing the characters to life in an actual X game. idk. this is more of a thought experiment/wishful thinking on my end. It'll probably never happen, but it would be cool to see the cutscenes bought to life with higher quality voice over work.

I... I like the voice acting in this game. I like Zero's voice, it fits his persona. Colonel, General, Iris, all great voices. Sigma, 10/10. While I prefer Scott McNeil from the cartoon, Wily's voice in this game was pretty goo too. Heck, even that "EMEHGEHNSHE!" guy at the beginning of Zero's campaign was great. Double was good too, though I think a more goofy and innocent voice would be better for his normal fat body, and then he'd have that deep voice for his evil form. The only voice I don't like is X himself. I can live with Rock having a little kid voice; he was designed and programmed to be some 10-year-old kid. X looks like he's about Zero's age (and I mean in terms of height and stuff, I know they're both over 100) and therefore should also sound like he's going through puberty, but I guess Dr. Light didn't really think that through. I guess that proves that Wily's smarter.
I think Sigma and Double both did a really good job. Zero is inconsistent, sometimes he sounds good but in other situations he sounds completely off. Iris kinda sounds like a guy trying to sound like a girl in some parts, but all in all I think she sounds decent. Colonel is fine enough albeit REALLY quiet, same with Wily (although Wily only has like 3 lines). The main two that I would say are actually bad are X and General. The delivery of X’s voice actress is perfectly fine, I’d even say it’s good. The problem is that it doesn’t fit X’s character AT ALL. In this game X shares a voice actress with Mega Man in Mega Man 8, and while I’d argue a female voice doesn’t really fit regular Mega Man either, it fits a lot better than X because Mega Man was designed to be younger than X. As for General, he sounds goofy and dumb, and I would expect a large, powerful, and respected leader like him to have a more powerful-sounding voice, if you know what I mean. The extra voices, such as Sigma’s unit and the hunters in Double’s transformation scene are all fine as well if you ask me. Even if you don’t like the voice acting in this game, you can probably agree that it’s a hell of a lot better than X7. Both are so bad it’s good though.
You know it's pretty amazing how later games received better voice acting. Megaman X Command Mission. Maverick Hunter X. But there were dark times. From what I know X7 has way worse voice acting.
We hope there will be also new Megaman X 3D Animation TV series with seasons(1~9~), with Mm X series 3D characters who look like '2023~2024 Monster High', 'Disney Frozen', 'Disney Big Hero 6', or 'Toei's Miraculous' characters.

The delivery of X’s voice actress is perfectly fine, I’d even say it’s good. The problem is that it doesn’t fit X’s character AT ALL. In this game X shares a voice actress with Mega Man in Mega Man 8, and while I’d argue a female voice doesn’t really fit regular Mega Man either, it fits a lot better than X because Mega Man was designed to be younger than X. As for General, he sounds goofy and dumb, and I would expect a large, powerful, and respected leader like him to have a more powerful-sounding voice, if you know what I mean. The extra voices, such as Sigma’s unit and the hunters in Double’s transformation scene are all fine as well if you ask me. Even if you don’t like the voice acting in this game, you can probably agree that it’s a hell of a lot better than X7. Both are so bad it’s good though.
You might as well call Dr Willy “Dr Wahwee” because that’s what Dr Light says in Mega Man 8 XD
I do like zero‘s voice for some reason, he‘s one character that wasn’t butchered, same goes for double. But for x? No excuses
This game has my favorite Zero voice. I just wish the voice direction and script wasn't so crap.
You know it's pretty amazing how later games received better voice acting. Megaman X Command Mission. Maverick Hunter X.
But there were dark times. From what I know X7 has way worse voice acting.
Btw the X7 cast is bad because of Axl sounding like Naruto
X7's voice acting makes X4's voice acting sound like a masterpiece

We hope there will be also new Megaman X 3D Animation TV series with seasons(1~9~), with Mm X series 3D characters who look like '2023~2024 Monster High', 'Disney Frozen', 'Disney Big Hero 6', or 'Toei's Miraculous' characters.
Should have been the first Mega Man Zero game, X was barely in these.
