I've been using the Reflex M + PSU-1 for a few years now. I'm not sure I would want to use anything else at this point. I've probably had half a dozen phono stages here in the last few years and the Reflex M is by the far the best. It does a great job of presenting the music on the record while minimizing surface noise, clicks, pops, etc. Sounds great with pristine records too. Anyone interested in Graham Slee products should check out the excellent home audition program they offer. No purchase required. More info on their website and forum.
Nice to hear that the setup is working. To me, getting that sort of soundstage and resolution means that a lot of small tweaks are coming together. One good thing is rarely enough to produce that sort of transparency, you need good stuff all through the signal chain, as indeed you have. As far as I can tell, the Reflex M uses Elna Silmic II capacitors, which will improve a lot with burn-in. Anechdotally, people give them about 200 hrs burn-in time. I use them a lot in recaps and I find they sound good enough after 50 hrs and after 100 hrs they're almost fully formed. Still, the components will continue to settle in and sound better over time, but less dramatically than during the first 100 hrs or so.
Another cracking video. Glad the phono stage is good, with those big tweaks you have coming and it getting fully run in, it will really sing. Keep up the good work my friend.
Hi Ian, great to hear how enthusiastic you are about your new gear! 👍 👍 👍 Love a bit of soul and Sam Cooke myself 👍, used to travel all over the UK very regularly for Northern Soul all nighters, still love the music now. Ended up buying a tonearm for £15 on ebay, to take the SME socket off it for my R200 tonearm rewire. Worked out a lot cheaper than buying a new socket. The £15 tonearm came today, hope to get fired into it during the week. 😉 Stay safe Jim 🏴 ☺
Love your upgrades and all the tweets you do l would love you to do a feed on mains and internal hifi fuses some time, thank you for passing all these fantastic tweets 😀
Thanks for another informative vid, look forward to hearing your impressions once it's all fully burnt in with new mains and power to phono cable. Have you tried Black Ravioli feet at all? I've had great results with them under power supplies-takes things to another level in terms of flow and finesse. Cheers from Sunny Scotland.
Hello, I own a Graham Slee Reflex M with Elevator Exp driving a Dynavector XX2. I wanted to switch to membership. I ask you if you have heard any differences between Accession MC and Accession MM along with Elevator EXP. Thank you.
Hi. I'm looking at trying one of these with my Lyngdorf amp which has a respectable ( in my ears ) phono stage. Tried a Musical Fidelity and sent it back. What cartridge do you recommend with the Reflex? ( looking up to the £350 mark and happy to stick with MM ) on my Technics 1200GR. I play mainly original pressing soul and reggae 45s. Cheers in advance.
Hello Arda, I can't say, when I purchased the phono stage, I purchased the upgrade psu1 with it, so they only sent me that, they didn't give me the standard power supply, so I can't compare them, but I've upgrade lots of power supplys in the passed & can tell you, that they do improve the some, thanks for watching.
Hi. Great video. Currently trialling the Graham Slee Era Gold V. Really good but now thinking of the Reflex. Do you think it would suit Rega Planar 3 with the Nagaoka MP 200? Thanks
Thanks. My trial is up so I’ll order the Reflex. As regards cable upgrades can you recommend any ready made brands.Watched your video but not tech savvy enough to make my own. Thanks again.
200 GBP would buy u a valve fono stage with a separate PS from Ali Express.. U pay a mint for a plastic case upgraded power supply which u have then further upgraded the power cable.. Graham Slug feeding himself lol
I want to appreciate your video review but once you start going on about thicker power cords you loose 90% of credibility. Power cords and hospital grade wall outlets should be some audiophiles dirty little secret. No need to share your audio-perversions with the rest of the World. We all have them, but enjoy them privately.

This is kind of an old video, but does this have a power switch for use across the pond, here in the colonies?
Hello geno, no it doesn't, but they do a US version, thanks for commenting & watching👍
Can you please give a link to where I can buy that platform on which you’ve kept the Reflex M? Thanks!
Hello, I made the isolation table that the reflex m sits on. Where are you based, I could make you one.
@@tweakerman That would be wonderful, but I am in the US. Are you able to ship it here?
Do you have an email on which I may contact you?
