As a former tank gunner, I have to correct you…. In the background you se an infantry fighting vehicle, The russian BMP-2 if I’m not mistaken. It seems you were ridning on a Leopard recovery vehicle (Technically a tank without a turret)
@@MrOluf yes, exactly...when I was a panzer dragoon, we had the centurion model (even after we had switched to Leopard 1A5DK 😂) because it had better horsepower per tonne 😀
I do yes, my friends who were with us have been to Geranium a couple of times. I'm only willing to dish out that kinda cash once a year, so maybe Geranium can be our food adventure next year :).
Potsdam is a hidden gem, a wonderful place to visit! Walk through Little Holland, see Sans Souci, and ride a water taxi on the river, and more. Our niece has lived there for a number of years, and we have family in Berlin, so it's a great part of Germany to visit and experience.
Yet another great video, specially the Sektion from Potsdam, where once again we saw Joshua on a great hair day, where he looked just as Nobel as the former president JFK. How never wore a hat in public. Just a shame that it wasn’t Joshua’s hat that got ran over in the second half of the video. But great fun though. 😉
Did I get this right - You live in Sorgenfri, go to Sans Souci in Potsdam and start speaking about the origin of the name without mentioning that Sorgenfri is a direct translation of Sans Souci from French to Danish?
While in Potsdam, you could visit the small castle Cecilienhof, where Truman, Churchill and Stalin in 1945 made a deal about the future of Germany. The Potsdam conference.
The train ride is so so so much better than a car ride to Potsdam as everyone on the trip can relax and watch the scenery outside and it really is faster than by car. I definitely recommend the train to Potsdam.
Yeah, originally we were going to take the train but decided to drive so we could more easily get around opposing sides of the park. We’d already walked a ton in Berlin the day before and opted to be lazy :).

BMP-1, the BMP-2 has a 20mm autocannon and a bigger turret.
You are right Mikkel. I think the correct name is: "Leopard I Berge Panzer"

But "Little Willie", the first "tank" did not have a turret either so it's a tank all the same!!!
I know that you have been to NOMA in Copenhagen, the best restaurant in the world, but do you know that number two is GERANIUM , also in Copenhagen?

A castle named Without Worry, just like where you live.

I agree, it took my third trip to Berlin to learn I needed to go. So glad I did!

Tanks!
You're welcome 🤣
Well played!
@@TravelinYoung Tanks :p
Looked like you had fun w. the tanks and Martin's hat! 🤣
Really loved the palaces and the gorgeous grounds surrounding them 😍🤩
hello from Hundested 🌸🌱
ok it looks sometimes now that your shirt looks red 😄
Haha, yes!!
Potsdam looks like a contemporary of Versailles in Paris. Very pretty and never heard of it, so definitely worth a visit...
Definitely check it out, worth it!
It was actually modelled after Versailles and is often referred to as the German versailles

Yeah, we stopped by but it was so late in the day it was closed. We did see it from the outside :).
It took some time since that tank destroys hat, got mentioned in the other video.
Thought it was an accident, though.
