      Were the medical doctors able to find the cause of your symptoms? Did you get relief from medications?

    • @drkevinpecca
      @drkevinpecca  5 лет назад +1

      Jrod 4 God that’s a great question. Did your toggle doctor take any specific x rays on you? If it is the right adjustment symptoms should settle down within the first couple hours to couple days. If you are feeling off days later and major symptoms are getting worse it could be the wrong adjustment. It’s tough to say without seeing your x rays.

    Interesting! I've had mild tinnitus from a neck strain 6 months ago, and people have recommended upper cervical chiropractic treatment for this and they have had good results. I couldn't find any upper cervical specialists in the country I live, though. I'm planning on going to the US to get a treatment like this in the future, so maybe I'll drop by your clinic when the opportunity arises. Great video! :)

      @@MRR7 I actually found an upper cervical chiropractor that's not that far away from where my parents live, so I take the trip to him whenever I visit them. There has been a noticeable reduction in my tinnitus after the adjustment. There's still a slight hiss and a very faint ringing left, so I'll keep visiting for a while more whenever I can get there. I thought it was going to be an instant fix, but it turns out that it does require some healing time and re-adjustments, at least in my case. But whatever, it seems like it's going to go away completely at some point, so if it takes some time then I'm fine with that. 🙂

      @@common_man1337 Wow , great , thanks a lot for replying . Looking for a upper cervical chiropractor in Europe is a real challenge. For how long did you have tinnitus ? Did you try clean diet and fasting? What do you think "damaged" your upper cervical spine? Thanks a lot

    • @common_man1337
      @common_man1337 3 года назад +1

      @@MRR7 No problem 😎 Mine started at the end of 2019. The misalignments in the upper cervical vertebrae were most likely due to a neck strain during exercise. I've tried water fasting and dry fasting, and dry fasting has actually reduced my tinnitus a bit. For many people dry fasting is what makes their tinnitus go away. You can check out August Dunning's youtube channel, The Phoenix Protocol, for info and tips about how to do dry fasting safely. For tinnitus specifically I can recommend Liam Boehm's youtube channel (Liam Stops Tinnitus), he's a great guy and a lot of people get good results using his tips to reduce or get rid of their tinnitus.

    Spontaneous remissions are common.
    Cervicogenic dizziness remains controversial. The lack of a diagnostic test or generally accepted criteria makes the entity even more problematic. Both anatomic-physiologic considerations and epidemiologic data suggest a relationship of neck pain and dizziness. Furthermore, there is emerging evidence that therapeutic interventions for cervical complaints may have an effect on dizziness and even on balance tests. At present, however, the diagnosis of cervicogenic or cervical dizziness is based on taking a history and trying to exclude other causes carefully. The best evidence for the diagnosis, and perhaps a starting point for further studies, may be patients who recover from both dizziness and neck pain after treatment of their cervical problems.

    This may help some people, and that's great. But neck or TMJ alignment issues aren't the primary cause of tinnitus for most people. Tinnitus specalist Dr. Ben Thompson recently had a great video that looked at the research into the various causes of tinnitus and while cervical issues are certainly sometimes a culprit, it's far from being the most common.

    Dr Pecca, I am reaching out to you again. I couldn't continue the 4 and 1/2 hour drive to mission viejo at my age :( I am not finding anyone near me. Are you able to help me find someone? I'm on the central coast near San Luis Obispo? I had sent you a mans name but he actually seemed a bit strange on the phone and wasn't sure he could help with ears?? I am doing much worse and am at the point of desperation. Please help me.

    Hey there I had my toggle recoil adjustment on Tuesday. I’ve been to nucca and atlas ortogonal previously but they were too long a drive. It’s seems like after my adjustments I feel sort of weird after, like for example, my recent adjustment with toggle recoil, afterwards (even days after) everything seems to sound louder, the Tinnitus’s is still there but I believe a little less. But sometimes I feel weird afterwards like almost like an anxiety car/motion sickness dizzy feeling? Could that be because the adjustment was wrong (feels the same from nucca and all other upper cervical specific i’ve been too) or could it be because my body is trying to get used to it being In normal alignment again after being out for so long, and the nerves start to come alive in a way and work like they should) I know the adjustments take pressure off the nerves that go to the eyes and ears, so sometimes after the adjustments it feels like everything is too much like visually and audibly too much stimulus. Too much sensory information.. My doctor is going to help me with restoring my curve via posture pump based on her instructions, Because doesn’t the atlas go horizontal when the neck is too straight? Thanks.

      Peaceful Sounds and Cool Songs the Atlas can shift many different directions. Make sure your upper cervical chiropractor is taking specific upper neck x rays on you so they knows how to adjust you. The tinnitus should resolve as the weeks go on if you are being put back into alignment correctly

      I’m glad I’m going to my appointment tomorrow, Lord
      Willing. She uses the toggle
      Recoil Technique. She specializes in upper cervical specific and she focuses on gentle and less is more approach.. I haven’t been there in a little while (about a week) and feel out of alignment., she took my x-rays a while back (not 3D ones, just normal side and front view.,
      1. should I get new X-ray’s or is palpitation enough to determine for her exactly which way the adjustment needs to be and also based on the previous xrays? She said she may do new x-rays after a couple visits to see the progress. And also my curve in my neck to see if it’s coming back
      2. If I do get another set of xrays , is it wise to take x-rays in forward flexion and back flexion
      3. I don’t believe she does after x-rays, are those needed? I know most upper cervical doctors only take one set of x-rays anyways (before and after), and after that they use palpitation the days after.
      4. Also other than palpitation, should posture check or leg length check be something we check for to make sure the atlas is in alignment or out?
