Understandable sentiment, what most nice guys do not understand however is if a woman is actively trying to avoid you getting laid (with her), she doesn’t care about your happiness. Women WANT to have sex with men that they actually care about. Otherwise they will use sex (or the allure/vague indications of something sexual perhaps happening) as a controlling mechanism to try and get guys to act in a certain way and do their bidding. So they went to get a burger. She was super disapointed when she found out that he doesn't have a car and at the end she took 10 minutes to look in her purse for the money, so he finally cave in an offered to pay for her after which he never heard from her again of course.

I mean that girl could've gone home and had a totally different perspective. Maybe they went on a walk and it was longer than expected, so she wasn't as prepared, and didn't think to eat. Maybe he gave the impression he had a car. Maybe she has a weird purse that genuinely takes an hour to sort through, I can relate. Maybe your friend made a big deal about paying so she wasn't interested in another date. Or maybe she was unreasonable. All I know is there always seems to be two sides, and there seems to be a lot of stereotypes I think people focus on more than communicating.
