In December 2023 I did EF Ultimate Break’s Peru and Machu Picchu New Years Adventure. This is my fourth trip with EF and it has quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list.

How much hiking was there? How tired did you feel after the entire trip?

You can hike as much or as little as you want. We did as much as possible and we were pretty exhausted but very worth it. We did the optional return to Machu Picchu hike (through EF) as well as Rainbow Mountain (arranged by your tour director as an extra activity) so 3 hikes in total plus we took ATVs and explored the salt mines (extra activity arranged by your director). We did have people in our group who only did the one included Machu Picchu hike. One of my favorite EF trips!
