Btw Bang Chan choosed all members. Stray kids was a project group so JYP gave them a chance too being a totally self producing group ( because they know that these boys are f**king talented). They(mostly 3racha) write all lyricses and they compose all songs and they attend the arrangement of their %40 of songs. They attend their choreographies too. Bang Chan choosed group's name and he even create their group logo. Last thing everybody should know about Stray kids is that every member is all arounder and there is not an official position for members right now for some examples everybody knows Han as a rapper but actually he has got a really strong main vocalist potential too. Changbin is a rapper, vocalist and producer. Bang Chan is vocalist, rapper,producer and dancer. Lee know is dancer, vocalist and rapper ... Other members are all arounder too. Sorry for bad English
- Chan was born in Korea, then moved to and grew up in Australia. This is one of the things this ancient guide is off about.
- Yes, Chan auditioned in Australia and then moved to Korea and into the JYPE dorms by himself at age 13. Part of the reason so many idols from other groups adore him is because he was their tiny baby brother trainee there (seriously, if you see pictures of him until he was around 17, he looks like he's 10). They used to pick him up and stick him in boxes, and they've told us he looked like a cute little doll to them.
- Seven years is a very long time, yes. He watched all his friends either drop out or debut -- either way, they left. He was alone, and he was there for so long that he wondered what was wrong and if he'd ever debut (he literally gave up his childhood and the comfort/safety of living with his family since age 13 for this dream), and he's spoken openly in both statements and lyrics about the effect that had on his mental/emotional health.
- Ages (in international form; their Korean-calculated ages are a year higher and will all go up by one year on New Year's Day, so Chan will be 26 in Korea, I.N 22, etc, regardless of actual birthdays):

- "Dirty prank" is right. There are multiple reasons most of us don't like JYP himself, and the survival show BS is one of them.
- If you're impressed with Felix's taekwondo, wait till you find out that about half the members are decent martial artists and that Chan is a notoriously all-round athlete whose room in Australia is chockfull of medals.
- Uwu is a cutesy-face emoticon: UwU and variants like ᴜωᴜ and (˘ω˘).

@@YoEthan Ateez’s label (KQ Entertainment) give ateez a lot of freedom that normal idols don’t get until later on in their careers- I think that in this aspect they are probably one of the better ones out there

This is a very very old guide. Woojin left the group in 2019 and is no longer associated with the group, at all. Yes Chan was born in Korea but grew up in Australia, Felix was born and raised in Australia. Hyunjin is pretty decent in english his pronunciation is really good and he can pretty much understand most things. "UWU"is kind of a reaction you have to something cute. Or it can be a cute face when using it's kind of suppose to look like this 😌
Here is a tier of English fluency from most to least
Felix
Bangchan (sometimes he forgets his english which is the only reason why he is lower than felix)
Seungmin (damn near fluent, no accent)
Han (also pretty fluent)
Hyunjin
I.N.
Changbin/Lee Know (Both are kind of on the same level and I'm not actually sure how much they can understand.)
Most of stray kids are pretty decent in English
what got me more into stray kids is the fact that the leader which is bangchan a.k.a chris handpicked all the members to form a group. It's very unusual for a company, especially for JYP which is a well known company among the kpop industry to trust chan, which is a señior trainee at the time to pick certain individuals to debut with. And on top of that, chan must've picked these talented individuals (which we all adore) very very carefully. I mean he knew what's he's doing when he collected these talented and versatile boys who grew up to be these confident men we that we see today.
Hey nice reaction right there, if you want to watch stray kids survival show- well its not really a survival show, but a showcase on their preparation of their debut, u can see their struggles and dorkiness there.
Also, if you want to see more of their versatility, I recommend you to watch 'Kingdom: The legendary war" it's a battle of performances with other boy groups which are: The Boyz, Ateez, Btob, Ikon, and sf9, and if you want to see the behind the scenes of their performance you can always watch it on their channel, stray kids or the JyP channell^^^

A fact that I don't if will be brought up anywhere about Lee Know specifically is he actually trained under a year and passed the required 40 dances in 2 weeks

Ok this is an older, not actual Video i think . Woojin leaved Straykids in 2019. I really get the feeling that Aussies love Mullets 😂😂 In Germany you call it "VoKuHiLa" (Vorne kurz hinten lang) translated Front short Back long 😂

@@YoEthan Not really, since fans don't really know either. In the official announcement from JYP it read "personal reasons"
@@YoEthan there's a lot of speculation about Woojin...some believe he terminated his contract voluntarily because of creative differences, others believe he was kicked out for violating the contract in some way. nothing was explicitly confirmed but there's signs that point to both possibilities, so I personally think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
what we do know for sure is that they didn't part on good terms, sadly. the news of him leaving came without any warning, and he left RIGHT before a comeback/world tour. it put the rest of the group (and the fandom) through so much stress and turmoil, and Bang Chan alluded to it being "almost like a betrayal" during a livestream. (his words.) ppl on both sides of the conflict got a ton of hate. 😞 that's why a lot of stays don't like to talk about it or still feel sensitive about Woojin.
I don't demonize anyone involved...they were all so young, and we all make mistakes and stupid choices as we grow. everyone's human. shit happens.
though it's unlikely he and SKZ are still friends, things are a lot better for everyone now - the boys are THRIVING as 8 and reaching new heights of success, and Woojin's started his own career as a soloist! just goes to show that the most painful obstacles can often lead us to a greater path. ❤

@@YoEthan yup. aside from the vague official statement JYP made about Woojin leaving for "personal reasons", and the not-so-subtle things Chan said in his livestream a few months later...nobody knows for sure what happened, and I doubt we ever will. kpop companies tend to be pretty hush-hush about this kind of stuff from what I hear. :(
and very true. Stray Kids has been pretty open about the fact that they all used to fight and had to grow as people, in the beginning. that authenticity is one of many things I respect about them. :) but when you look at their chemistry, it's clear that they love and support each other like family. all the pain they went through that year has only brought them closer, and it's so wonderful to see as a fan. they deserve that happiness. as we stays like to put it: *8 is fate!*
This guide as others hv mentioned is quite outdated but if you want TeaNoSuga's A DETAILED & HELPFUL GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS 2021 EDITION is a good one to react to!
