@@ILLUDIUM_Q_36It's not that easy, he has years of practice and hundreds of hours developing his own style. If you want to produce like that you need to start right now and enjoy the process
To any beginners out there, you will not be on this level of mastery when you start. I know for me personally, i looked up to all the greats and highlights of their careers thinking i could be that not knowing it takes years and decades of experience to even come close to this level that Marlow has surpassed, i recommend the book: Mastery by Robert Greene as that helped me a ton on my journey of music i’ve been on. It will take constant practise to produce something as masterful as this beat tape, at first it’s difficult but the more time passes the easier it becomes to reach that spiritual level of connection with your craft. I wish you luck to anyone on their path. ❤
Marlow next level on this one. In my opinion his best work so far putting him in the masterclass with legends such as Pete Rock ,Lord Finesse, J Dilla and others . Saludo !
I started buying hip-hop tapes and records in 1985 when I was a small child. I can say with confidence, your beat-making is as good as the best of them. Congrats on your journey.
I'm glad to have found Marlow as well, fyi he's got some fire packs I got the "chef Marcos" pack and it was well worth it Look for the link in the description homie ✌️
Was excited to see this released today. Great soundtrack to a long work drive this afternoon. Inspiring as always, my MPC getting some use tonight. Pretty basic stuff from me but your videos are helping me get there! Thanks Marlow!
thank you for finally releasing 33:19!!!! this whole year i’ve been watching the clip of it from the video you released this time last year and just vibing. it’s so inspiring. thank you so much!
Fire tape 🔥🔥 I had a question regarding which machine you preferred since you happen to have both. Which Do you prefer between the live 2 and the MPC X? I have the ability to buy either one at a good price right now 🙏🏼
Cant compare the two, they're different. I always say to buy the new stuff, more reliable, more functions, faster workflow. The old stuff is good limit your process but I feel like you're starting so you should probably get the new stuff Live 2
I follow you on my main channel and also on this new channel I just started up a beats channel couple days ago myself always ear candy and dope content from you and motivation for other producers much love from NYC and man that Hiroshi jazz sample was Fuego !
Love this Marlow, thanks for sharing this with us. Are you by chance planning to make a vinyl out of this? If you are please let me know, I would love to purchase one. 🙏🏼🫡
@@mpchead Thanks for your reply. Count me in on the preorder if you move forward with it. If you do move forward with preorders will you announce it here or do you have a news letter service?
This is instrumental album is PURE DOPENESS. Incredible work brother 💯. Question What does Ginga mean? And did you use the Moog one on these beats? Also the low end on your kicks are crazy did you use the mpc X SE on these beats?
Thanks 🙏🏼 most of the beats where done with the Live 2 the rest was done with the 60 the XSE and the XL . The moog wasn't in the studio yet. Ginga means swing
I've skipped through the entire length and, from what I've heard, this is precisely what I want to hear. There's not a single jarring element. I don't think I could pick out a published collection of beats from any of the producers I grew up listening to which comes close to this. No interludes to take you out of the moment. Not a single skippable beat. Why aren't all hip-hop instrumental albums as beautifully coherent as this?
Unbelievable. If I could make beats like this, I probably wouldn't even talk to people. This is life!❤❤❤
Try it, you will stop talking to people.
