- Modern Luxury House Tour in Houston Texas? Yes PLEASE! Although very hard to find due to their popularity. I came across yet another Modern Luxury Townhouse in the newly developed Washington/ Buffalo heights area.
There's something to say about new construction homes these days. There's a high demand for them but the supply is significantly low due to a number of reasons. They're great for city living and entertaining guests and frequent family visitors. They offer enough space to work from home with the multi-level floor plan. Most importantly, they're great for investment and lifestyle. Especially if they come with a rooftop terrace with views of the city!
This week I took a stroll down the familiar Washington and Memorial Heights area to take a look at yet another townhome in 80% completion phase. What did I find? Do the HOA 'S in townhouses allow you to house hack them?Also do they allow you to do short term rentals , such as Airbnb? Thinking of investing in one
Good question, Stan. Quickest answer is that it depends on the HOA regarding vacation and short term rentals. As for house hacking, I believe as long as the residence is your primary within a single-fam or residential property for a min of a year you should be ok. I would advise further research to clarify. My opinion is based on previous understanding.

Good eye, they're still under construction with other townhomes on the street. It's certainly one of the desirable neighborhoods near downtown. Lot of new commercial businesses are popping up along Washington Ave also.

They're starting at $780K-$790K currently. I've heard from the representatives there that they're expecting to increase pricing soon

$800k for a Townhouse that should be illegal. The purpose of a Townhouse was to make it affordable for folks who can’t afford a house.
