    Tyrod will forever have a special place in the heart of Bills Mafia for being the QB when we ended our playoff drought. He’s a class act. I’m grateful for the video. I had forgot about some of those beautiful deep balls he threw to Watkins.

      It wasn't just him breaking the drought, Tyrod Taylor was hands down the most electrifying and exciting Bills player to watch play in our entire history until Josh Allen got here

    I’ve been waiting on this one. He doesn’t get the respect he deserves but he damn sure is the best quaterback to play for our Bills in the past 17 years. Thank you for all the fun memories, we might not have been the best team but we were infinitely more fun to watch under TyGod. 2015 will forever be my favorite offensive team of the drought. Tyrod and Sammy were looking like Daunte and Randy the second half of that season!

    Growing up watching the bills with my old man He would always get his hopes up every year. Every year it was the same thing then BAM we got fitzmagic and he was pumped but then after that it was down until we got Tyrod. All the sudden there was excitement again and an actual belief we could win games. Tyrod was the perfect Bills QB for the time and I truly wish he could stay healthy and be a starter elsewhere

    Tyrod Taylor is a solid quarterback IMO. He played well for the Buffalo Bills especially under Greg Roman's offensive system. I think he deserves another chance to be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

  • @2taggs2
    @2taggs2 4 года назад +47

    Watching Allen the past 2 seasons, he lacks that touch on throwing deep -- Tyrod might have been limited in some areas, but you can't deny he threw a perfect bomb - perfect touch.

    • @DailyQuests
      @DailyQuests 4 года назад +7

      In his first season yeah. After that he become captain checkdown and pretty much never threw it deep.

    • @2taggs2
      @2taggs2 4 года назад +3

      Daily Quests : Daily Quests : completely different WRs. His first two seasons (not one), he had deep weapons - Beane got rid of all speed in 2017. Who could have gone deep that year? I’m in no way a Tyrod defender. But ... Zay Jones, Jordan Matthews, Kelvin Benjamin, Andre Holmes were his main WRs. No deep threat. All his great highlights are from ‘15-‘16. Again, Taylor had many limitations... but he had a great touch with the deep throws. Finally, the Bills have a combination of speed and height at WR.

    • @DailyQuests
      @DailyQuests 4 года назад +1

      @@2taggs2 I was just talking about his 2015 season. Even when you look at 2015 to 2016 he became much more risk averse and even more so in 2017. He pretty much put up the same in each of his three years. Just look at his yard per attempt. Went from 8.0 in '15 to 6.9 in '16 and that's with pretty much the same roster.

    • @2taggs2
      @2taggs2 4 года назад +3

      Daily Quests : lol again, I’m not sticking up for Taylor. I agree the reason his TD/Int ratio was so great was Bc He didn’t take enough chances. All I’m saying, is that when he did throw the deep ball, it was on target the majority of times. That’s the only weakness in Allen’s game that is concerning - pretty sure he was last in the league and completions of over 30 yards (per attempt %). It’s ironic that he was drafted bc of his arm strength - and he overshoots his WRs Bc of it. Hopefully he learns how to just simply put touch on it - with Diggs now, there’s no excuse for him to do over throw anymore.

    Top 5 QB's since Kelly:
    1a. Tyrod
    1b. Flutie
    3. Bledsoe
    4. Fitz
    5. Orton
    Special shoutout to pre-concusion Edwards.
    I'll admit, sometimes i rearrange the top 3. Each make a valid case for the top spot, I just feel like Tyrod had the least to work with (some will point to Shady, but both Flutie and Bledsoe had solid RB's so the difference isn't that drastic). He has certain advantages over both: better record than Bledsoe, better arm than Flutie, more athletic than both, etc. Plus, he helped end the drought, so he should always remembered for that. All 5 of these guys should be fondly remembered considering all the other trash we had to deal with. Go Bills

    I'd argue Flutie was better. Maybe not TDs/Int ratio... but W/L record wise - and he brought the Bills to the playoffs twice in the two years he was the (majority) starter. It is a debate to have. Taylor fans will point to his low INT ratio - I point to W/L record Flutie had while being a Bill - at the end of the day, wins are the most important thing.

      They were the same passing. Tyrod is a better runner. Flutie had an amazing defense while Tyrod's were average

    • @2taggs2
      @2taggs2 6 лет назад +1

      It's subjective. Flutie was the least sacked QB % wise when he played for the Bills. It's my opinion. I don't think Flutie was amazing, but you can't ignore some stats. And you can't just say Tyrod was better bc Flutie had a better Defense. Flutie had his limitations (just like Tyrod), and yes, Tyrod was a better runner... but as far as W/L and playoffs - you can't ignore those things and just say it was bc of a better defense. Tyrod was given multiple chances - while athletic, he can't read defenses and is inconsistent on his throws. I don't dislike Tyrod - but (in my opinion) Flutie was much more successful. Agree to disagree.

    I supported Taylor his entire career. He had and most likely still has a lack of conviction in his eyes that ultimately cost him his starting job. Had he been more passionate for winning games who knows how far he could have taken this team. He also played similar to past QBs in the sense it seemed like we never knew which version of himself would show up to play. I called it in Cleveland last year when I said he'll lose the job before the seasons end and wind up elsewhere. I still wish him the best, regardless.

    Tyrod was gun shy. He had Woods, McCoy, Goodwin, and Watkins but still couldn't score many points. I watched him live when they came to Oakland and he had zero ability to read across the field. The defense would literally look at which way he looked and all shifted because they knew he wasn't going to go thru his reads quickly. The amount of open receivers he simply could not find is why we needed to kick him out. About 1/3 of his scores came in garbage time after the game was decided. I wish he could have scored 1 TD in the playoff game against the Jags.
