I find it stupid that they do this for consoles. I have a friend that had this happen to them. They ended up creating a whole new PlayStation account just for Genshin.
@Almagan11 I just need to make sure. Because somehow, all the progress I had on my phone, including money spent, it never went to my Playstation account. I had to start from scratch. I just want to avoid that this time.
Can SOMEBODY please asnwer this. Not many channels going over this issue, and before I juat give up and cut my losses, I need to ask. I've inked my Xbox to my email. Did all the pop-ups that showed. I logged in, but it started me over. NOW, since I couldn't remember from my phone, I decided to redownload it. Logged in through email...starts at the beginning. Logged out and tried logging in through Facebook, and that apparently is where my progress was on the mobile version. I forgot i played by logging into FB. Is there a way to go back on the Xbox and start all over and log in through FB like I do on my phone? Am I screwed?
My genshin account is on america server, while my xbox account is on another region, will this affect me linking them?? if yes, what should i do, Make a new xbox account with my desired region for genshin?
I tried, and it didn't work. I lost all of my progress. I was on Ar59 on mobile, and I stopped playing on it after 3.0 because of how much data it took, but funny enough, I've already gotten to sumeru in the 5 days

Wrong my guy u can just unlink it on their website then link the one u want to use good videos tho 👍🏾
Settings--->acount--->user center--->link hoyo account or something like that maybe email, anyway do that to link to hoyo on any platform
