Motion graphics can be done in after effects and VFX can also be done in after effects but the problem is that mechanics and system of each field are completely different from each other and both fields are equally difficult which needs tremendous analytical skills.......
after effects have limited options like its layer based software..we can do 2d things great but 3d have limitations... in short whatever you do..whatever software you use ..u have to be best...

7:30, sorry to say beforehand. Abey Chu, don't mislead...confirm then say. Nuke is not a roto software. It is a compositing software. Proper Roto software are silhoutte, mocha which have 98% + accuracy.

I have a permanent work from home job and a full fledge gaming PC provided by the company and a good pay all because of graphic designing only.... So to everyone out here feeling doubtful about it... Don't panic, It's a great field with a lot of scope only if you do well in it.
Dont know why he is sharing such a myth without having proper experience and exposure in vfx field. May be the starting will be tough but after that this field is high paying. I'm also having experience of more than 5 yrs in vfx and never be disappointed.
@@hypeinsaan I'm in vfx..I'll not reveal this but I can say you can earn like IT jobs...if you are a compositor, Fx artist or Digital matte paint artist or many other departments in vfx
But you have to also be perfect on your skillsets and should work for big MNC's like Technicolor, Dneg, framestore and many other companies that are top in India
To work in these kind of fields, one needs to be very creative and also must posses a passion for this. Else, just because it looks cool can't take you anywhere..
True, thats what i had commented previously. Brother didn't have a passion for it. Many people i know have a passion for their work especially coding and graphics design. They push through it regardlessly. I can't even imagine sitting and coding for hours, yet i know people who would litterally crave a day in which they only sit and code, and get no error in it LOL.
Lets be honest vfx and graphic design and stuff are really good. It takes time to learn and master. But the problem is its not so appreciated in India where ppl dont know its value and are happy as long as it works they dont want to be perfect.

To just be a pvt freelance mograph designer you need to invest 1.5 lakhs for a "decent" system.....not even high end.....just decent. I'm also 17 years old. I am doing graphic design. Actually, graphic designing is the best career in your life but you need to be a creative person. you can connect this carrier to your next carrier. So I will start learning to program and I will become a graphic designer and programmer. if you are a programmer and customers need a website & app. So you need a graphic designer and UI UX, designer. So graphic designing is a profession that is very good and you can learn it.
Basically, you didn't had passion in those field. You were in those field because of money & fame. These fields needs lots of patience, time & passion. If you have those, money & fame will come to you itself!

He said a harsh realiy! The guys who r blaming him to spread negativity, trust me at one point u'll feel the same pain. So avoid doing the mistakes & learn from him. I was too in motion graphics but soon realised I can't sit so long hours & it has no proper fixed income. Now I m making 50x more money as a Interaction Designer in a well know big IT company.
Pro Tips :- 1. Lear from online resources, it can be paid or free but you will get alot of content from thousands of professionals artist but don't join any Indian institute 🙏. They are useless and charge high fee amount + provide outdated knowledge. 2. Search for freelance work, not a job to earn more and from all over the world you will get work. 3. Keep updating ourself, don't stop learning new tools.

You can learn all the things by your self with help of internet, all you need is good laptop with sufficient graphic card rendering ability. MAAC doesn't provide free and genuine software for student purpose and also they don't cover all topics in detailed and they can't nor any other institute. MAAC just advertise themself too much. Neither Maac doesn't provode study material.

This field will never give you mental peace, I was working as a video editor for 10k salary then shifted to another company with 16k salary (in hand 12k). most importantly you have to forget that you have a life because most of the cases there will be office on saturday and sunday also. and recently i got a offer as an prep/paint artist in pune for 10k salary. those who are still confused what to do after 12th, please don't pursue this field, if you want a stable life learn coding and join IT field it will best for you.

I'm following you since I started Graphic & Motion Design. And now I'm a Logo Designer in IT company located at Rajkot. Every single words you say is 100% true. This field needs a lot of patience and confidence. Because your first design is going to suck. And it will definitely come back to you with thousands of changes. You need more and more research and creative ideas. And it takes time. So you have to stay calm. But even though it makes me happy. And I make good amount of money. @@KanishkaBisht-C- it depends on where you work. Some states pay really less. For instance in Kerala you get paid really less almost 10k a month for full time. And with experience the most you'll get here is 25k. So aim for big cities

I have worked in the field for 5 years now the money-to-work ratio is not good plus u don't get to get creative,u r just following instructions for whole projects& sometimes it feels like a bluf becoz we call ourselves artists. Still, all we do is make 3d stuff of someone else's illustration. this industry is not well structured. I have been working long enough to know it's one-10th of what people tell u it is. now I have a team and I get to make the decision but I will be frank the industry sucks. you want to create something then make movies with real budgets and control ur creativity otherwise u will just become labor like me and many others

Yahi hota hain jab students to internet ka access milay aur unke town mein institutes ho jo course provide kar sake. Mere time ye dono hi nahi tha. Main jab 17 saal ka tha tab career ke baare mein kuchh sochta hi nahi tha. It was until my final year of BA graduation I thought of enrolling into a multimedia course. Uske baad fir animation ka course kiya. Tab tak I was about 27 years of age. Dhang ki job milne mein kuchh aur saal lag gaye.
I am also regretting to join the institute for this … only thing they do just time pass … my courses duration was 1.5 y but it’s been 2.5 year course is not completed …also some institutes teach 3 days in a week .. i m suggesting everyone every thing is on free on internet don’t spend lakhs in institutions and ha salary 🙂…….chlo byy !

I'm a beginner vfx artist and i am learning element 3d and i am really enjoying it. No one is there to put pressure of work on my head and i am making what i desire. Degree is one of the many ways to get a job but not the only one. If u choose to self learn, i don't think u will give u like this man
Same to same experience i've got bro. I want to work as a filmaker but i don't know how to enter into industry so i choose vfx. I ve got 10k on my first job as a 3d artist where I have to work 10 hrs a day. And during pandemic when we are doin work from home. They forced us to work on Sundays. When I quit my first job and did freelancing I saw many people are there who have more experienced then me is only getting works on online freelancing sites. I saw some people only working for 100 rs to get work and some clients who offer works like 10 min youTube video editing for just 100 rs. I ve got some clients through my network but they are cheap clients and not main clients. They offer us 5k and took more then 2 months on a phone cgi advt. And from 5k, I had to split money with my network who brought me that job. In India vfx/3d artist are undervalued. Now I am trying to enter in music industry through my frnd who is an underground artist. He wanted to make a song with good budget. I hope I will use my full potential with him and recieve what I deserve😊

Sare bat sach bole he i m a 3d animator working from last 6 years as animator and every thing he said is true its not like that we go and make shot and come come and get salary easily i ll breakdown it. If offic say 9 to 5 job there is no 9 to 5 job in animation or vfx or graphic if u join as a 3d animator when u reach home at 9 am morning they will assign u a shot like 3 to 5 sec animatics or sometime only single frame and u have to animate it accordings after that ur team lead ll see u shot and ll approv that and if the shot ll not approved u have to sit in the office till the shot not approved doest matter girl or boy then if tean lead approved then ur shot ll check by supervisor if u r lucky enough u ll not get correction and if not u ll have to correct that first and if he cleard ur shot then gone to vfx department they ll check it and on before finalization the shot ll gone to client he ll check and if he dont likes it again u have to make changes to ur animation shot so this is the preety Shot brief about the industry so youngsters choose wisely its ur carrier by my point of view if u can stay in office 24 hrs and u like it then its great for u ....otherwise dnt try to put ur leg in the ocean ..all the best

Nuke is a compositing software and rotoscoping is a part of this software. I can relate to many things you said..its true...never believe in institutes promises.....but i want to mention one more thing...we can agree that last 5 years there is many works came into light related to vfx specially in movies..but overall..till now...vfx and animation industry not fully developed in india...it will take time...and it will stand gradually with other careers like engineering and MBAs...and the sallary part..bhaihar industry me ajkl yahi halat ha...engineer ghum rhe ha 12-15 hazar k salary me.. Everyone should first think seriously before start any career.

Bro...please stop learning it.....Roto works are not done in nuke...Company using silhouette software. Nuke is very advanced compositing software. And a compositor earns a lot after some years of exp.

You can learn all the things by your self with help of internet, all you need is good laptop with sufficient graphic card rendering ability. MAAC doesn't provide free and genuine software for student purpose and also they don't cover all topics in detailed and they can't nor any other institute. MAAC just advertise themself too much.

This field will never give you mental peace, I was working as a video editor for 10k salary then shifted to another company with 16k salary (in hand 12k). most importantly you have to forget that you have a life because most of the cases there will be office on saturday and sunday also. and recently i got a offer as an prep/paint artist in pune for 10k salary. those who are still confused what to do after 12th, please don't pursue this field, if you want a stable life learn coding and join IT field it will best for you.

This field needs a lot of patience and confidence. Because your first design is going to suck. And it will definitely come back to you with thousands of changes. @@KanishkaBisht-C- it depends on where you work. Some states pay really less. For instance in Kerala you get paid really less almost 10k a month for full time. And with experience the most you'll get here is 25k. So aim for big cities

I have worked in the field for 5 years now the money-to-work ratio is not good plus u don't get to get creative,u r just following instructions for whole projects& sometimes it feels like a bluf becoz we call ourselves artists. Still, all we do is make 3d stuff of someone else's illustration. this industry is not well structured. I have been working long enough to know it's one-10th of what people tell u it is. now I have a team and I get to make the decision but I will be frank the industry sucks. you want to create something then make movies with real budgets and control ur creativity otherwise u will just become labor like me and many others

Main jab 17 saal ka tha tab career ke baare mein kuchh sochta hi nahi tha. It was until my final year of BA graduation I thought of enrolling into a multimedia course. Uske baad fir animation ka course kiya. Tab tak I was about 27 years of age. Dhang ki job milne mein kuchh aur saal lag gaye.

Same to same experience i've got bro. I want to work as a filmaker but i don't know how to enter into industry so i choose vfx. I ve got 10k on my first job as a 3d artist where I have to work 10 hrs a day. And during pandemic when we are doin work from home. They forced us to work on Sundays. When I quit my first job and did freelancing I saw many people are there who have more experienced then me is only getting works on online freelancing sites. I saw some people only working for 100 rs to get work and some clients who offer works like 10 min youTube video editing for just 100 rs. I ve got some clients through my network but they are cheap clients and not main clients. They offer us 5k and took more then 2 months on a phone cgi advt. And from 5k, I had to split money with my network who brought me that job. In India vfx/3d artist are undervalued. Now I am trying to enter in music industry through my frnd who is an underground artist. He wanted to make a song with good budget. I hope I will use my full potential with him and recieve what I deserve😊

working in vfx artist or cg artist its not everybody piece of cake ,you need utmost dedication Artistic sense and nuke is a compositing artist where we can do roto as well ,its not just roto software.

Sare bat sach bole he i m a 3d animator working from last 6 years as animator and every thing he said is true its not like that we go and make shot and come come and get salary easily i ll breakdown it. If offic say 9 to 5 job there is no 9 to 5 job in animation or vfx or graphic if u join as a 3d animator when u reach home at 9 am morning they will assign u a shot like 3 to 5 sec animatics or sometime only single frame and u have to animate it accordings after that ur team lead ll see u shot and ll approv that and if the shot ll not approved u have to sit in the office till the shot not approved doest matter girl or boy then if tean lead approved then ur shot ll check by supervisor if u r lucky enough u ll not get correction and if not u ll have to correct that first and if he cleard ur shot then gone to vfx department they ll check it and on before finalization the shot ll gone to client he ll check and if he dont likes it again u have to make changes to ur animation shot so this is the preety Shot brief about the industry so youngsters choose wisely its ur carrier by my point of view if u can stay in office 24 hrs and u like it then its great for u ....otherwise dnt try to put ur leg in the ocean ..all the best

You said very true reality of selling vfx courses i do this type of course in 2007 and i advice to not to do.
Nuke is a compositing software and rotoscoping is a part of this software. I can relate to many things you said..its true...never believe in institutes promises.....but i want to mention one more thing...we can agree that last 5 years there is many works came into light related to vfx specially in movies..but overall..till now...vfx and animation industry not fully developed in india...it will take time...and it will stand gradually with other careers like engineering and MBAs...and the sallary part..bhaihar industry me ajkl yahi halat ha...engineer ghum rhe ha 12-15 hazar k salary me.. Everyone should first think seriously before start any career.

Bro...please stop learning it.....Roto works are not done in nuke...Company using silhouette software. Nuke is very advanced compositing software. And a compositor earns a lot after some years of exp.
