A proper shearer would shear 140 max. I shore at a shed where a guy was using one outside shearing just 100 a day in average ewes. He came into the shed and shore 37 the first run. Same with semi-trailer 7 stand "unit", 5 of us were inside shearing 1100, while the 7 outside were doing 600-700. If you have nice shearing ewes you might do 140 a day. But yeah, good for the back and body in general. Big sheep is the biggest problem in the industry right now.
BS they could! And even if they could Enjoy writing them a check for 18000 or more. Plus you and maybe 2 others will have to stand there and put wool away keep shearing pens full etc. great idea for someone who wants to shear his own at own pace.
I think you missed the point that he was untrained, as in a proper shearer is going to be a lot faster. Not that am saying there right, but it looks better for the back for sure.
put YOU in that contraption, in that Position... see HOW... YOU like/Enjoy being tossed/ turned around like that. A Little consideration for the Lives that help feed You and Yours would be NICE
Not being a smart ass but i am a professional shearer and I could do 300 on these sheep quite easily. There are guys out there a lot faster than me as well. So 140 a day doesnt really warrant spending the money on this machine.

So little stress on the sheep, and saving the shearers back :)
The guy in the video knows what he's doing. He's at least trained to use a handpiece well.
At 140 per day, the average farmer would take 4 weeks to do his flock. A team of two good shearers could shear 3000 of these sheep in 6 days.

how much for one unitis it worth for a farmer with 300 ewes to buy one???
How much is this unit cost
