My favorite part is when Gandalf, alongside the Doctor, Han Solo, and Marty McFly, teams up with Captain Kirk and Ripley from Aliens to face off against a hybrid Saruman-Terminator Time Travel Robot in a chaotic final battle at Mount Doom. The unexpected alliances and confrontations, like Rick Sanchez accidentally summoning Daniel Jackson through a Stargate and Mad Max navigating Middle-earth in his post-apocalyptic car really make this story worth seeing! Going to be totally tubular and radical man!
I don't think that was the intention of the creators either. They just go deeper into the rise of Sauron, Galadriel, Elrond, Durin, Gandalf, etc. And in my opinion they do it well. I'm looking forward to it!
