Ghazir Historic Village - غزير بلدة تاريخيّة

Ghazir is famous for being the birthplace of Emir Bechir Al-Chehabi (1767), the Lebanese President Fouad Chehab (1958-1964), and the blessed Abouna Yaacoub (1850-1954).
It is also characterized by its traditional Lebanese architecture. Examples include more than 7 churches and monasteries which date back to the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th century.
