Slides notes : Sorry for the weird audio with Paulette Rollin, I don't know what happened :o As you see I've included most of the singing characters in Disney or others but about those I could have included : - I didn't include Wendy from Peter Pan because I couldn't find the 1st dubbing (if so, I would have put her at the bottom with the 1st voices of Snow White and Aurora), and that's also the reason why I didn't include the redub (dubbed by Bénédicte Lecroart), also because I don't love Bénédicte's Wendy as much as her Kayley, Odette and Belle and I have no idea where I could put her if I had divided her Wendy from her other roles - In the same range of Bénédicte's Wendy, there is the redub of Shanti in 1997 with Claire Guyot that I wasn't able to rank since on one hand I don't love her Shanti as much as her Ariel and I way prefer Lucie in this role. I'm quite indifferent about Claire's Shanti. - Also there are Louane as Poppy and Amel Bent as Meechee that I didn't include because as they are celebrities, it's hard for me to hear them as characters.
Since English dubbings are Original dubbings,Will you make a Tribute ranking for English as well, that would be great and interesting!PLEASE P.S:If Judith Berard 's Pocahontas was included in this "strange but wonderful "ranking where would you put her?
@@EntertainmentWorldLover I did this for French because it's my language and I have a childhood connection for most of them so I'm not sure about doing the same with English. Especially since when I will do an English ranking I've decided to not include the live action characters. About Judith Berard, I would put her between 30 and 40 I think, I like her she has a great voice but sometimes her vibrato is a bit too much for me and I miss Laura Mayne in the 2nd movie
Beauty & the Beast had one of the greatest French cast ever and it makes really sad that a lot of French voices are gone too soon. I rewatched in both French and English for remembering Bénédicte Lécroart as French Belle & Angela Lansbury as English Mrs. Potts which I grew in both languages. 🙏🌟
Like you, I adore the 1991 Cinderella and love that you placed Elena in the top twenty. Although where’s Sofia? It seems like everyone seems to forget her when doing these rankings.
For a person who has seen bits of Mary Poppins' French dub, I agree with your opinion regarding Eliane Thibault's performance as Mary Poppins. Shame she has not appeared in anymore French Disney dubs after the release of Bedknobs and Broomsticks' original French dub from 1972 where she dubbed for Angela Lansbury as the singing voice of Eglantine Price. As for Lucie Dolène's performance as Shanti, she may not sound like a child, but her beauty overcomes that.
2 years later after Bénédicte Lécroart as the French voice of Belle, it’s with deep sad news that Daniel Beretta as the French voice of Lumière from the 90s has died. A light candle for honoring him! 🕯
Oui comme la plupart des doublages de Lucie Dolene, y aussi sur Shanti où elle a été remplacée par Claire Guyot en 1997 et ça j'ai expliqué dans mon commentaire épinglé pourquoi je ne l'ai pas incluse..
Sorry but I really can't stand that kind of manners, and I just hear as fake and snob where some people hear her as sweet and youthful. And also kinda makes me laugh people who are mad of her Ariel but who underrate and don't care about her Mulan. But now one of my "regret" was to put Cerise behind Marie as her Ariel in the live action is similar to Marie in a more grounded way so a sort of improvement^^
I understand your Point,I Can see What annoys you in that kind of Voices,In general your Opinion is exact same as mine but it Is for Her Mulan,Here she sounds quite annyoing and unfitting,I prefer Her Ariel, but I can agree that Claire sings with way more sincerity and I Really love Her in that Part you choice
@PopRock-gl5ey I think I explained in my comment for Mulan why she's less annoying than as Ariel but I think I will never understand why she would be totally unfitting as Mulan but perfectly fitting for Ariel X)
@@strubel946 Thank you!I love yoir Channel P.S you never answer me are you Guy or a girl I"m just asking And I find Marie unfitting for Mulan bc Mulan is only character where princessly and girly voices really annjoy me

RIP Nathalie and Bénédicte, they may be gone from this world, but they will never be forgotten
How did they pass away?
They were two of my favorite singers.
@@Father_of_Death I don’t know, but if I’m gonna guess, Bénédicte died of old age (I don’t have a guess for Nathalie, given that she was in her 30s)
@@savannahthefangirlyt8884I heard Nathalie has an illness, leukemia…😢

Great ranking! French voices are so beautiful.
Very complete wow!
