In 3rd grade, our grade took a tour of City Market's distribution center in Colorado before it was bought out by Kroger and closed. Target had quite a complex back stock room storage system 18 years ago when I worked for them.

There must be a social state working here, which will stand on top of capitalist relations, and if people do not have work to generate income to live, the state must provide people with a guaranteed income and direct their activities to improve the spiritual world of people, to create masterpieces, study stories, etc. That is, people cannot be thrown into the trash heap if new technologies deprive them of their jobs and people are replaced by robots.

The store was very nice and clean. I seen your cleaning lady following you. I wish US stores were as nice, as it relates to cleanliness. However, the Distribution Center reflects US Food Distribution Centers about 10 years ago. I must say that distribution center was unorganized and somewhat filthy. In the US, food distribution centers such as Walmart, Quaker, Procter and Gamble, and General Mills, are already using advanced technologies, such as automatic feeder pallet insertion into trailers, automatic feeder pallet build, ("pallet shrink wrap"), just-in-time-ordering, automatic feed pallet movement within wharehouse build, computerized ordering and system delivery from shelf to staging via roller conveyor, computerized product picking, automatic staged pallets are already marked with a U.P.C. label, (Universal Product Code), that already contains a QR Code, for deliveries through 3rd party transport carriers, such as United Parcel Service, (UPS), and Federal Express, (FedEx). The automatic pallet feed "carousel" can "shrink wrap" 15 pallets in less than 6 minutes. Pallets are seperated by "room temperature," and pallets requiring "refrigeration," to their designated dock assignment via computerized "trolleys". I referenced a dirty warehouse, as the pallets were sitting directly on the floor. The pallets in US food warehouses are stacked directly unto racks. This aides in the cleaning beneath the racks, as well as keeping rodents from entering "food stock pallets." Plus, US Food Distribution Centers utilize food grade pallets, as they are blue in color, (#2 pallets), and are used specfically for food staging and stacking, as opposed to general 48" x 48" pallets. Also, I seen some of those pallets were stacked in a manner, in which damage may occur in transit. US Food Distribution Centers utilize computer scanning systems, to ensure proper placement of items according to weight and size. In addition to, sheets are placed between the stacks, and cardboard corners are inserted to prevent collapse, prior to the pallet being "shrink wrapped." I would say the above technologies do not comapre in anyway, to the types of air and ground package delivery methods. I welcome you to google U.P.S., (United Parcel Service), and FedEx, (Federal Express), to see how their highly advanced automation systems deliver billions of packages worldwide on a daily basis.
