Thank you for your honesty and openness Lisa. I hope you and your husband are having a good day today😊 I have to agree about the necessity of the mute button on occasion 😂😂😂😂
My wife died 6 years ago. We were together for 40 years. I still miss her. She was an exceptional person. My brother's wife told me not long ago that she woke up crying from a dream that she had about my wife because she misses her so much even now.
I know when I am going to be busy, because my wife says the 4 dreaded words,"I have been thinking". We compromise as well, I wanted 2 children, she wanted 4, so we compromised and had 6. You're right about the TV, which is why I spend the evenings on my tablet while the cop show rerun is on the telly. I am now fully house trained and can cover absences, cooking, washing and occasionally I can vacuum, but I have to put Freddy Mercury on and dream.
I would say that relationships in general are troublesome but much better than being on your own! I've been together with my English wife for 19 years and married for nearly 8 years. I would say that my wife is more emotional than me when we argue but im not sure that's true in general - there's a lot of individual variation between people. I know plenty of men who are quick to emotion and illogical in their thinking. E.g. my mum is very logical and rational - i would say my Dad is the emotional one. Both partners should work hard to keep the other happy. For me, it's been all about honesty and communication. Its all a negotiation - the more you work at it the better your relationship gets. I think people nowadays often resort to divorce too quickly. There are obvious reasons to get divorced but often i think people imagine they could just quit the relationship and find the perfect partner. I dont think that's right, all relationships involve work and in many cases you just need to talk more x
This lady shoots from the hip and scores a bulls-eye every time! Very true and wise words. I’ve got a Chinese wife….she’s ok, not too controlling but sticks to her (bizarre?) culture. This occasionally brings problems; sometimes I feel like I’m married to them. But, ultimately, I tend to make the big decisions (which she likes) and I still retain a type of husband ‘strength’.
Hi Lisa Great Video. You always make me smile. I'm a single male. But all the women in our family are very strong. And so are the rest of my female Friends. I see your strong as well
Your right happy wife happy life but add in Chinese wife and culture and that brings even more complicated problems, my wife has two birthdays a Chinese one and western one, all though her life growing up birthdays have never been important in her family and i should have kept it that way, but stupidly i decided to celebrate her birthday each year and everything was great until one year i forgot and all of a sudden birthday's are very important to her now!🙄
I disagree I was happily married for 34 years to a wonderful wife who was my very best friend my soul partner a veritable gift from God. Sadly lost her to cancer.
I always take any example and turn it around, if the husband is happy, the wife will be happy, can you imagine women agreeing with this. Most men today just capitulate to the wife's demands....for their 'survival', dreadful attitude. But with 72% of woman filing for divorce in the US, that says it all. With billions and billions of people getting married, obviously millions have to be happy, stands to reason, doesn't make it fun for men though!
The best kind of troublesome. I will tell you though, there is a big difference between Chinese wife and western wife. Totally different kind of troublesome. With a western wife you might might try to argue your point. You will probably lose, but you will try. Maybe this argument goes on for some time. This might happen regularly. With a Chinese wife, you only do this once, and then you never try to do that again. lol Happy wife, happy life.
😂 This is hilarious. In the best way. I agree with everything you’re saying, Lisa. I am, perhaps, in a strange position… I am divorced but my ex wife and I are still very good friends and I have much love and respect for her. Still, I wouldn’t have married her if I didn’t like/love her. But sometimes I think two people can be the best of friends but that isn’t necessarily a recipe for a successful marriage. Just my personal experience. 😁
Men eventually learn that the most important words are, “yes dear” and “you know, you’re right!” Peace is the ultimate goal.
You are right up to a point. You also must keep your partner happy or else it's just a matter of time before they will find a replacement for you.
kindest regards from austria dear Lisa

Haha . Thank you.
I am married to a Chinese woman in Australia. We have a saying here in Australia.
Happy wife. Happy life.

I’m sorry about your wife.
@@GobbyLisa99 Don't be, she lives in my heart.

It should be "Happy spouse, happy house!"
I have been told there is a saying in Mandarin: Three women in the kitchen is a comedy.
Haha.
We have saying in Australia, "if it has tits or tyres, you are going to have trouble" but I want the trouble.
I've had a Chinese wife for 40 years. I agree.
Oh, hell yes! I had one of those once.
Haha
A man will only forget a wifes birthday once.
I've never forgotten my wife's birthday: I just didn't know that it was 17th August that particular day. I thought it was 15th,
...and yet she will never do anything for yours
Hi Lisa, Hence the expression that a wife is a ball and chain, haha.
Nice video ,Lisa
It is impossible to disagree with Gobby Lisa. 🙂
😊

As a never-married 72-year-old male, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about these things?
WE have a saying our country, happy wife equals happy life. This means that women, or wives are always right when it comes to marital issues.
You always make me laugh...and you speak the truth....
Indubitably
"Women are like drugs" 🤣

It is possible to own two TVs.
It's the best kind of trouble 😊
What a pleasant woman
I have long concluded that about and the reason why I am not and will never marry. Residential peace is far more valuable.
OK - OK, yes my wife (from JiLin) is the prettiest and best, but yes she does try to start trouble.

My Dad always said she who musted be obayed 😂
Yeah that's why I never married 😅

To be honest I don't know because I'm not married.
Lisa, your becoming troublesome. x

I agree. I am happy when my husband happy.
I Agree
😊
She the most troublesome when she’s a KTV mistress to another adulterous married man. Trust me, I know. 😢

Thank you. My husband says I am his best friend and psychologist.
Ah… best friend and psychologist! That’s perfect. That’s a great marriage without doubt, 👍🏻😊
I’m married to a Chinese woman and she always justifies punching me when she’s angry. Her justification is punch means love. Is that really true?
If it's like the force of boxing, then it's not.
Aren’t you going to get into trouble from the wife’s union for telling these secrets?
lisa like your husband ive lost my hair and money
Haha.
