Thanks bro.....really the only channel that tells things in depth i wanted to know what all these things are for....the game doesnt even tell and it have all kinda buttons
Dynamic brakes are when the turning of the traction motors generates powered and the its sent to a grid in the long hood(its the fans/grates on top). They take the kinetic energy(movement) turns it into electricity, sent to the grid. Where it's turned into heat. Like regenerative braking in a hybrid(just dumping the energy as heat instead of charging a battery)
Suppression is the setting before handle off, and that allows the air to bleed out from the main break pipe. The main break pipe is the line that runs from the locomotive to each and every car that controls the breaks on the railroad cars.
@@lucerogaming3720 yes, and when i try applying the automatic breaks it is coming up like it should on the screen, but the breaks itself doesnt have any affect on the speed, only the independent that works. Do i have to set it on bail off? Or set the automatic to a special setting to apply enought air pressure, like the white needle coming up enough in order to apply?
I am playing this simulator for 3 weeks, but I never use dynamic brakes. I will definitely use it while downhill. The fully fuelled mission was very frustrating as on 2 tries I was just running the whole 1.1 km long train with just 2 locos, I never able to use the bank locomotives. The main locomotives just starts to wheel slip on the slop. Please if possible make a video on how to set up banking locomotives. It will be very helpfull.
Brakes don’t even work on Xbox one…. Train has 90 psi but cylinders don’t activate unless I ebrake but even then I only get 30 on brake cylinder, dynamic brake does nothing as well makes some scenarios unplayable on the base game csx package 🤦🏼♂️
Great in-depth rundown. Will have to watch a few times to fully understand. Thanks.
Thank you glad to help

Amazing detailed information. Thanks!
Your welcome! Thank you for a view!
Nice bro!!!!! It helped a lot!!!

Helped tremedously !!!!!! Thank you !!!! :-)
No problem!
How you change the camera like that
I play on the xbox one and I push down on the left thumb stick
Press 8 on the keyboard and then use arrows to move around
Hi Lucero. What does handle off do on the automatic brake? Like the purpose of moving it to that position. And suppression as well..
Please reply Lucero
So the handle off just means that you turned off the automatic breaks.
@@lucerogaming3720 alright. What about suppression?

Do I also need to have banking comm on at the back pair of locos, as well as the front pair? And do I set one of the back locos as lead or not?
What do you mean swap ends? I'm just trying to get the bloody thing to move...
Lol swapping ends mean switching the lead locomotive to the other end. Usually in the game it doesn't have you swap ends.
@@lucerogaming3720 Oooooh. That's kind of what I figured but just wanted to clarify. Thanks for the interesting info. : ) Good video
I cannot seem to get the automatic breaks to function, so annoying to look down at the independent break all the time....
Is the pcs open?
@@lucerogaming3720 i dont know, i'll have to check that tomorrow. Where is the pcs?
@@lucerogaming3720 the pcs is not lighted, so i guess it is not open
Ok and it's cut into freight?

Before this video I only knew one thing about brakes: they make you stop 😂
make a video on all the guages that are related to braking as to what value they should be at. and also on wheel slippage
Thank you for a few ideas.

Dynamics is the way to go! Thank you for another video idea. I will look into that in the next few weeks.
Can you do a tutorial on how to turn on windshield wipers in your next video?
In freight trains like this you have to use them manually
Good video idea I will look into that.
@@lucerogaming3720 AC4400CW has 4 pantograph windshield wipers with 2 in the rear and the SD40-2/GP38-2 has 4 pantograph wipers and 2 smaller wipers

Idk if it's a bug or when you load in the game it doesn't have them set correctly.
