The creepiest thing about this season was the weird raptor woman. Dang! She gave me the creeps, especially when she climbed out of the debris at the end.

And no, you’re right this season compared to the previous animated series no the deaths a lot higher. You see a lot more of it. This feels more like the movies.

That crazy attociraptor girl is so interesting. She was extremely unsettling in so many ways, particularly her expressions and the way she moves. Barely feels human. But then her connection with the atrociraptors is awesome, I love their interactions. They don’t act as if they’re being forced to do things or are under any sort of control the way I’d have expected, they genuinely seem to love her, and see her as their leader that they simply follow. The way they rub up against her and get chin rubs and pats is somehow adorable, even with that girl’s permanent psycho death stare.

I think everyone knew she was alive. A trailer isn't going to tell you a character died if it's true. It's not good story telling.

My sister and I watched it together, and it was nuts. When I saw that woman with no eyebrows, it gave me a creepy version of Michael Myers, like never spoken a word, and at the end of Jurassic World Chaos Theory, we saw that Brooklyn was alive!
Before we found out that Brooklyn was a alive, Darius and Kenji found out that she had money in her apartment for selling dinosaurs, I think.

Does anyone remember back when the Jurassic Franchise was toying with the idea of human dinosaur hybrids? Because that pale near silent woman controlling the Atrociraptors with a whistle, something about her and her relationship to those raptors does not seem entirely human…

@@cintronproductions9430yeah, she is really creepy and while she did apparently whisper something to that traitorous DPW agent, it was so quiet I couldn’t even be sure she said anything, but yeah, her movements and general behaviour are definitely not human.

I too wonder what happened to not only Mae but also Pierce, Little Eatie, Firecracker, Angel, Rebel, Toro and the Spinosaurus, they were also on Mantah Corp Island but only Bumpy and Big Eatie are confirmed to have gotten off it.

At the end, i was really happy, but knowing Brooklyn was gone just made me feel kind of empty, but then when she showed up... everything felt... complete! 9/10!

Ok, the series exceeded my expectations and I dare to say it was better than Camp Cretaceous.
Spoilers:
1) We saw the protagonists in a facet we've never seen in the past series, showing not only how much they've change, but also some of their personal dilemas that there were wasted.
2) This series fixed the issue I had with Dominion, and it was showing more of the world's dinosaur dilema.
3) We had unexpected moments, like Daniel Kon's final sacrifice.
4) The new villains were as awesome, if not better than Daniel Kon and Hawkes, showing that we won't have more idiotic antagonists anymore.
And of course I knew that the studio never had the guts to kill one of the main characters, it was always that same and repetitive truck to get atenttion, and the also applies to Bumpy.
My only issue, it was hearing the atrociraptors with the velociraptor sounds, but that same issue was shown in the first series.
Overall, while not as great as Kingdom of The Planet of the Apes, but it was an excellent beginning. 8/10.
I was waiting at several instances to see if Brooklyn would turn up. Like in the secret apartment, at the dino godown instead of mateo. But when she was revealed it was perfect. It gave a little evil vibe but what a way to end a season anr keep excitement up!!!
Almost everything shown was very good. The characters stories and buildup, emotions and relations everything was nearly perfect. Cant wait for next season!
I don't think shes evil I think her and the dpw woman are working on the inside. She realised going to meet up with camp fam was too dangerous and decided to hide in the shadows. How did Ben know they were being hunted because he received threats I think one of those messages was brooklynn warning him.
I'm watching this just after seeing the whole show, and this is my review:
This was a great sequel to Camp Cretaceous. It had well written characters and good action, and it kept my attention throughout the show. The many twists and turns the story goes actually surprised me! I give this show 50/10 it is that good exactly what I needed. I live this show, best on netflix and maybe even the franchise. Dominion was an okay film and I liked it, but this and the first film as well as camp cretaceous are peak Jurassic. More please, I need more.

I saw someone else speculate this but what if the raptor woman could be a raptor-human hybrid? she seemed to talk to one of them when it told her that darius and the gang were in the building, and she definitely cares for them more than a normal assassin would, like almost owen grady level
Imagine this girl human hybrid and Atrociraptors X Owen and Velociraptors.
Yeah when she and the raptors suspected that Darius and the others were in the building it looked like they were communicating somehow.
And owen could never pet those raptors like cats even if he trained them since they were born
I feel like they show us very obvious physical movement implying there was "humans" still there with how he was sniffing and moving his head toward the containers and looking back at her if you had a well trained dog they would literally be doing the same thing expect they would most likely be barking and trying to lead the way.
@@ishmir1710 i feel like it a bit of a reach because we seen Owen grady literally did the same thing he just look less creepy but the raptors clearly were more loyal to her compare to the raptors in Jurassic world lol and it literally like a well-trained dog telling it owner that there someone hiding or in the area they obviously cant talk so they use physical movement and noises to indicate that such as the rapptor was sniffing and looking back at the containers where they were hiding and looking back at her implying soemeone was there and we already know these raptors are very intelligent animals
So this is probably very much a stretch but i did some math.

The 1 episode of the final season of camp Cretaceous aired July 21, 2022
Almost EXACTLY 404 days later.
Now not only is this all highly coincidental, I feel like if they keep the same schedule as camp Cretaceous and we end up getting 5 seasons of chaos theory, episode one season 5 AND the new movie could (but probably wont) release on the same day. Nonetheless, i feel we could get some significant overlap between the two.
Chaos Theory was amazing and a utterly emotional roller coaster season 2 can't come fast enough.
As for Brooklyn losing her hand to quote Zaeed Massani "Rage is a hell of a anesthetic".

I binged it this morning....I loved Miss Fringe's relationship with the atrociraptors, the way she caressed one of their heads in episode ten was just awesome. She is possibly my favorite villain now. I can't wait to see her character development and to find out more about her.

So Ben got Brook into conspiracy and dark Jurassic, which lead to helping Yaz find the therapy place, and also get getting very deep in these conspiracies which less to get neglecting Kenji for a while and likely not reciprocating feelings to Darius dice she knew he would object heavily... So hear me out, it's all Ben's fault clearly!
I mean, you have a point, but that's a bit of a stretch, don't you think? Ben being Ben was obviously paranoid, but it's almost like showing your friend an app or something. It isn't your fault if they download it when you aren't around.

After binge watching the entire first season of Chaos Theory this morning, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt that all the twists and turns were nicely woven into the story. And its just a theory I have, but I don't think the Atrociraptor handler is entirely human. Given her behaviour to the Atrociraptors and the way she moves, I'm gonna say she's a human clone with Atrociraptor DNA to spice things up.
Watched it at 4 am ,almost woke up my whole house hold because I wanted to scream 😱.
Fun fact if u go back to the scenes of bumpy some of the noises she makes are the exact same as the sounds toothless make in how to train your dragon

I agree, i was not expecting Kenji's dad to go out like that. Though he did do what a father is supposed to do: protect his son.
Bumpy laying that egg was a surprise, I guess it's self-fertilised, like Blue's egg was? Or did she hook up with a male ankilo at some point?
Interesting character development with Sammy, i'm curious as to what was the cause of the rift between her and her parents, and apparently Mantah Corp island was invistigated and promptly evacuated (which explains how Big Eatie and Bumpy wound up on the mainland, but what about everything else? What about Mae, Dave and Roxie?
The flashback with Brook and Yaz really did a good job showing how Yaz was dealing with her ptsd. And the other flashbacks each of them had was really nice too. All i can say is, once/if they ever find out she's still alive, and find her....oh boy...are they gonna be _PISSED_ And i'm kinda not surprised Darius' former boss was aware of what was going on, but at least she seems to be on their side...maybe. Though I am rather surprised Brooklynn managed to escape that Allo and all it cost her was an arm. I'm sort of on the fence there. On one hand, they probably should have killed her off, to crank up the tension, but on the other, i'm glad they didn't.
I can't imagine Brooklynn would really have turned on them properly. Maybe she's working for the CIA or Interpol, we know Biosyn has been running that international black-market operation for a while now, and that in Dominion, at least the CIA were looking into it, and having agents infiltrating Dark Web sites like Dark Jurassic is the sort of thing they do.
Now the Brook/Kenji thing, another youtuber (Alteori) speculated that they wouldn't last, that Kenji would end things. Looks like she was right. I just never would have expected it to be because Brooklynn got negligent of her BF's feelings, or even his existence.
The revelation that Darius started developing feelings for Brooklynn after the fact, but it wasn't mutual, was probably a nod (and a head-shake) to all the fans that ship those two (most of the ones who write fanfiction do, anyway). As for Ben's girlfriend in europe, well, lets just say that as someone who is also in a trans-atlantic relationship (my second one, surprisingly enough), if this girl does actually exist, then welcome to the club Ben Pincus.
As for the handler, yes, _VERY creepy_ lady, though she did show some affection for the raptors, even going as far as nuzzling one of them, so she obviously cares for them.
Then there's the timeline inconsistency i mentioned in my comment on your spoiler free review video, and how the date shown in one of the flashbacks (and Brooklynn is perfectly fine) doesn't match up with the timing of BABR if the attack mentioned in that was meant to be her.
Overall i'm interested to see where Season 2 goes, and i hope we get more than 2 seasons. And again, as for the change in voice-actors, it's not really jarring if you just chaulk it up to the characters getting older and their voices changing.

@@DANIELH013 going by their reaction at the end of "The Nublar Six" episode, i honestly doubt that. Sammy's dad and Yaz's mom genuintly seemed happy for their daughters, not just happy to have them back, so i doubt it was because Sammy is a lesbian, I think it's more to do with what she did to try and save their ranch.

Actually Sammy explained bumpy got pregnant with whatever ankylosaurus she was hanging out with, escaping the ranch.
It got explained in the last(or second last, cant remember even tho i JUST finished binge watching it) that brooklyn actually got attacked by the atrociraptors we see with the creepy whistle robo-woman. Im thinking she somehow got away from the allo and got attacked by the raptors and survived, or the raptors appeared when she was being chased and got away by raptors attacking allo or distracting it or something like that. And either lost her arm that way to allo or raptors, either situation.
The whistle lady was REALLY disturbing.

Everyone's talking about Brooklyn being alive, but nobody's talking about the fact that she's basically a villain.
I don't think she's a true villain. Either she is being forced to do it in order to keep the group safe, or she's doing it to infiltrate somewhere and bring the culprits to justice.

When I tell you this series has a TOTALLY different feel to Camp Cretaceous, I was SO impressed. It totally kept me on the edge of my seat, and I'm insanely curious for the backstory of the main villains, especially who The Handler is and how she bonded to the Atrociraptors. I genuinely CANNOT wait for season 2. Man, when I thought Bumpy was gonna die though, I was seriously ready to riot 😂 I was NOT gonna be happy. But instead we get a baby for the next season, which I'm so excited for. Also not sure how I felt about Brooklyn being alive, because seeing how devastated everyone else was, I can't even begin to imagine how they're going to react to seeing her again.
The Spinosaurus needs to return, In CC they did him dirty. So if he might return in this show I want him to be the Tyrannosaurus killer
The grief part was the best done part for me. Deep down i knew they didn't have the balls to go through with it, but at times I was like shit "Am I the one going through denial here?" Didn't expect a kid's show to break the fourth wall like that.

I swear Brooklyn better not become the villain. She is my favorite character! I would also love to see her and kenji back together! This first season was crazy with a lot of plot twists!!

If it's a one-sided love then that's not really a win. We only know Darius's POV so far though and haven't gotten a chance to see things from Brooklyn's perspective. Darius is also the only member of the Nublar 6 to not have a flashback scene with Brooklyn which hopefully means we'll see something next season. I just don't see the point of them introducing this love triangle plotline this late into the series if Darius's feeling are unrequited.
@angeloallen991 two theories. First, in interviews after camp cretaceous, Scott Kramer revealed that he had the idea for kenjilynn in season 2 and just thought they were sooo cute, but it was too early to introduce relationships. He didn't understand the backlash from us dinostar fans....and acted as if there was never the slightest thing between Brooklynn and Darius. (Clearly Brooklynn was interested in him back then, but as someone else said, Darius was a late bloomer and never noticed....which led to her basically settling for kenji....heck Yaz had to basically convince her she liked him. Anyway, this could be Kramer trying to shut us all up once and for all.....cementing kenjilynn as his chosen ship no matter what the majority of the fandom wants. Kenjilynn fans have grown in number.....for sure...but I still think dinostar fans significantly outnumber them.
Second.....Darius SAID she didn't feel the same. He knew that would make kenji feel better and Brooklynn was dead anyway so nobody would ever know if it wasn't true. Perhaps, he never even told her.

As the show progressed I was pretty impressed that Brooklynn is actually dead and then at the end I was like “ofc, they don’t have the balls to kill a main character” 😭
me and my friend watched chaos theory together and had a debrief and the only thing we could talk about was how shocked we were when darius said that he fell inlove with brooklyn! we were so shocked we talked for an hour

First of all, I was genuinely so shocked when brooklyn showed up, like I literally stood up and freaked out, secondly the gave me a scare when bumpy gave birth, I really thought she died, I almost cried

Theories: Brooklyn spiraled downward after feeling abandoned by Darius and Kenji. Leading her to do this more solo act and letting everyone believe she is dead.
Also Ben's Girlfriend....is real and is probably Brooklyn pretending to be someone else so she is still "close" to one of them. Probably got to private chatting via dark Jurassic.

I really like the raptor lady. She just has so many raptors all three of them. I don’t think that we can say that killing Brooklynn off would’ve been a better move after only one season and we don’t even know her motives yet
I binged the whole season this morning because yesterday like 90% of my Jurassic Creators posted spoiler reviews and it was too risky to scroll my feed on my phone.
But now I've watched it I'm safe and have watched a few reviews already. My heart is still pounding from how intense some of the scenes were and how unnerving that woman was, she was like a possessed doll *shudders*
But man the overall story was great. I agree some episodes felt filler and some plot points didn't need to be there, but it was still an enjoyable roller coaster of a series. I'm excited for season 2 and will use the rest of the month to catch up on other Netflix shows I've missed before I cancel temporarily again.

@@Abdullah-zo2wi see that’s the tricky part we only know his side of things and how he views things but we have yet to get her input and hear how she feels about it. I get the feeling they are going to drag it out some more and keep building some kind of conflict with him and Kenji over it. It would suck at the end of the show if Darius ends up alone again after just discovering he can actually feel something like love. It’s crazy cause he is the youngest and arguably the most mature of the group when it comes to making decisions but he is the slowest of the group when comes to experiencing emotions like these.

This season was just FANTASTIC
I think I was okay that she was alive; it adds to the drama of when they all see her alive again, and it's not like she got out of this as she is missing her left hand. I won't lie; I was happy Kenji and Brooklyn broke up because I never really thought they should have been a couple, and when I found out, I jumped out of my seat.
I agree, I don’t mind them together but their relationship was so random. Yas and Sami actually made sense. If anything, it should’ve been Darius and Nrooklyn
