    Ok lets evaluate the facts , we were on top of the table after 10 games and watching w most exciting team in the league ! The team then got decimates with injuries a d momentum was lost , we are more accustomed to our style of play and with the young players we’ve signed we are much much stronger than last year , knowing this fact leads me to believe top four will be a shoe in and we will be definitely contenders for the title .have the faith coys !

    Enjoyed that, cheers fellas. Josh spoke a lot of sense. We need to arm ange with the players he wants and suit his system before we really judge. Ange always said it’s going to 3/4 windows to get to where we want to be. I’d love us to be bold and go all out for Alvarez. Last season when we were linked with Gallagher at 60 million I didn’t want , but seeing the price now quoted to athletico, can’t help think he would suit us. I like the Semenyo fella at Bournemouth, David I think would be a quality pick up. Solanke is way over priced.

    Chris, I agree that if we don't get the goal scorers yet have a great back 5 then Ange will have to change the system because it is suicidal to play a risky defence if we cannot score. Furthermore if I was Romero or VDV you would get fed up working your hamstring off only to see the frontline not scoring.

    I would say realistically we really only have about 10 days of quality transfer window l left.
    By Thursday or Friday before the Leicester game less players are going to want to move. And less clubs are going to want to deal.
    That will be compounded if we have a bad game against Leicester.

    I am very concerned about the softness in the midfield like last season we are being carved through too
    easily our wingers are soft The midfield is soft we are horrible when we come up against a tuff pressing teams I think at the end of last season there was a template on how to play us and the teams exploited it perfectly so far what I am seeing we haven’t corrected that we are going to have problems winning away games if we do not get tough in maintaining the ball and against the press and also do a better job of winning the ball back in the midfield and up the field

    • @toddhellyar4167
      @toddhellyar4167 Месяц назад

      Because he wins shit wherever he goes, against the odds normally. Plus we saw what we could do before the Chelsea debacle. Now tell me that he only managed in weaker countries leagues. Asian Cup with a second rate Socceroos squad after the golden generation retired. The Japanese side me managed was mid table for years before he arrived. The Aussie teams he managed were also doing poorly before he arrived. Celtic was also a mess when he arrived and in my view, shows less of what he can do compared to earlier in his career. Keeping players fit is a problem because Levy won't give us a squad of equals, only second rate replacements for the first choice players.

    • @rontully9031
      @rontully9031 Месяц назад

      Weaker Leagues. The Scottish Premier is a 2 team league. That “he wins wherever he goes” is a crap argument. Mourinho and Conte were winners in far superior leagues. Did Jack Shit at Spurs. Not blaming them btw. Whilst ENIC/Levy are there we’ll win nothing. Ange’s tactics with the players he has is suicidal in the Premier League. We got found out pretty quickly. The problem is, he doesn’t adapt. 61 goals conceded with what most Spurs consider a good defence is awful

    We want better for our team. We know we lacked depth and rotation in the squad last year. The 18 year old guys will need to learn and make mistakes. They will also learn from older heads next to them. We haven’t replaced Harry Kane. Most of us know Werner is not good enough and Johnson still does not look bright enough or consistent enough to start and do well all season. He looks decent for 20-30 mins off the bench only. Kulusevski looks better in the middle. Maddison’s form/desire is worrying, so why not Kulusevski compete with him. We trust Son on the wing, so need a top right winger. We need to take players on more. We are a centre back short, even if Davies stays. Imagine two CB injuries and him playing every game for three months? Left back, Will Donnelly be our only cover? Is Bissouma good enough? Last year he wasn’t. Sarr’s loss of form was worrying, as was Bentancur’s. We do need a lot of goals as we will concede goals a lot. As is shown pre-season. We could easily slip back to 8th or 9th with this squad. With a poorer start than last year. Other teams have clever managers and seem to have worked us out. They have brought in players. West Ham, Aston Villa. Also we have paid increased prices for season tickets. Heard older fans absolutely fuming about concessions being reduced and disappearing altogether. Commercial deals signed. Concerts, hotel, cinema, housing, NFL. If we don’t see this transfer to the pitch what is the point? How rich can ENIC get and why do they need it? It is a tough market, but let’s get the targets we identified before the season starts. Get rid of the players limiting our foreign buys. Royal sale is taking forever. It is not how a club like this should be and no wonder fans are angry and frustrated. We had the Sissoko window and do not want that again. We also had windows where bought nobody and how we paid for that as well.

    I’m expecting the “plan” that was in place to be replaced by”Oh we tried our best” and end up with our 3rd,4th or 5th choice. Solanke???? Pfft. One good season and, typically, Spurs take the bait. If he was in the “plan” as Ange keeps harping on about. Why was he not signed, sealed and delivered. Personally I don’t believe he fits the system as his link up play isn’t that great. We are in desperate need of a 6, a Winger and an out and out Striker. If we start the season as we are at the moment, we’ll finish mid table at best. Then in all probability, our better players will be off next season to actually join ambitious clubs. The long term Spurs supporters are well aware what the club is like under this regime. Football is not on the top of their priority list and it will continue to be that way. This “game changing” stadium had only been game changing for ENIC/ Levy’s bank balance.
