Yes indeed Katie Boulter played here amazing game. To be honest I haven't seen her play to much so far and therefore I was really surprised how tough oponent she was for Iga Świątek. Although she is tall her movement is very good, she hits ball very fast, strong and accurate. The match was verty tight and could go other way. Congratulations for the great match and thank you for your kind words for Poland.

The whole match is just fabulous. It's a pity that people miss such a rollercoaster game. Katie did have that strength to beat Iga. Hopefully she can improve her serves and consistency.

One thing I know about Iga is that, if you win the 1st set, make sure you bring your entire soul in the 2nd set to win the whole game... If you let your gut down and let Iga win the 2nd set, she'll definitely win the 3rd set... She starts slower...but once she's warmed up, it's over for any opponent.
I agree about winning the first set but I disagree with the implications that Swiatek is a slow starter (quite the opposite, she usually starts at a very high level and completely overpowers her opponents from the first point) or that she started slow here (she got an early break).
I.S. to me is the best player in WTA- IF not for that ' drug' case (which I think was so minuscule as to be nonsense , see. S. Halep). She would have won more matches / points and still be the official. # 1. No matter there's a big tournament in a couple weeks.

Iga Swiatek still won despite playing under her real level. Against Rybakina such mistakes will be punished. VERY close match. Iga is really putting the shots close to the lines. On many of them, just an inch difference and they'd be out. Incredible. Also, great from Katie to stay with such a strong player like Iga. Really good match, and high level.
What a battle! Katie at the first set showed a tutorial of how to beat iga. Iga plays like a cyborg, you just have to play more offensive than iga. Of course easier said than done
Very proud of Katie, she pulled up her trousers and has done lots of hard work ! She still needs to be quicker on her feet but her mental hardness has gotten better, she suffered with the same issue i.e. lack of mental resilience/breakdown at critical points that Harriet Dart suffers from currently (another player who has great potential but is let down by the lack of control over her emotions )

Iga's problem is the deeper in a tournament the worse she plays. After brilliant match with Muchova now Iga let Boulter impose her pusher's game (with endless rallies) which Iga barely won. And again too many shots Iga played at Boulter in position for easy returns.
What kind of pain killer did Igar take in her medical time out for UT to be so rapidly effective. Are there oversights on these behavior, taking performance enhancements during a match ..?
Boulter was mid serve motion and the chair ump decided to interfere and instigate and tilt the scale for Swiatek at the most important moment of the match. Meanwhile Iga does fake “bad ball tosses” virtually every other second serve to screw with her opponents and buy herself time. She is also a verified doper.
