I don't even feel the need for an upgrade yet. Especially as any option would have me file for bankrupcy. The current GPU market is a joke. I seriously miss the good old days when Nvidia offered such a great price for value.

Hopefully by then AMD will have the bugs worked out of the drivers and 7000 cards will offer better stability. Or you could go with a 6900xt which still offers some excellent price/performance if you get it at a good price. The 6Gb do a great job.
The 1060 3Gb hit the memory limit .
Wel 1050ti 4Gb is lower but more stabel fps
So really 1050ti on the long run than a 1060 3Gb model.
Personal i have vega 56 what have the same speed like the rx5600xt .
The 2Gb extra on vega make les dip and you can more textuur options.

      @@dyslectische i dare to say that a 5600XT is faster than a vega 56.
I had a vega 64 in 2019 and in 2020 my cousin bought a 5600XT and paired it with his ryzen 3600 while mine was paired with a 3900X.
In certain games his gpu was waaaay faster, in most of them was on par with my GPU. And i believe vega 56 is lower in terms of performance than 64 unless crazy OCed

      @dyslectische Год назад

      @@barbusbogdan7 no not really.
A vega 56 custom designed can be on pair agians a vega 64 blower model
That is the reason a vega 56 win against a rx 5600xt on 1440p and higher.
On 1080p the rx5600xt is little bit faster than a vega 56 .
This is the memory Botlek of the rx5600xt
Last is a test by hardware un box with the game from the new Harry Potter games (what ever)
And its test even a vega and the old rx serie.
      See that one.
And hardware Unbox use vega 56 and 64 blowers in that game.
A vega blower vs custom cooler .
Is about the custom one by the manufacturer about 15% faster.
Reason that vega 64 sucks is that the memory speed is to low for that cars.
The vega 7 model the one that come out after vega 64 is a lot fastee thanks to the faster memory speed.
The vega 64 is hold back a lot .
Wel the vega 56 is more balanced and do not have to wait in the gpu.

But im honest. 99pounds are kinda a lot for this card, especially for the hot blower founders edition. I would rather wait a bit and buy a GTX 1070 for 120 bucks. If u search for it, u will find some cards that sell for that amount. Alteast in my country.
Or buy the older GTX 980, it costs like 70-80 bucks in my country.

In worst case scenarios like a plague tale requiem you have to settle for 30fps at low settings. If I were to use my 2004 6600 gt in 2010 I'm not even sure it would have been capable of running HD youtube videos smoothly, let alone video games of that era.
On the other hand, it used to be exciting to build low to mid range PC and being able to double performance every two years on the cheap.
