I just received this plane, so thanks for this video series. Quick question, and as I am brand new to turbine planes/setup, please excuse me if this is a dumb question. I always thought that the exit of the turbine's exhaust nozzle needed to be just inside the opening of the bell housing of the exhaust pipe. Not as far recessed as yours is. Does it matter one way or another?
I use a good quality Servo tape or Gorilla Tape and once they're in for just a little while they're very difficult to get out. They are Gen 2 smartpaks so doesn't require a balancing lead to charge
That's a brilliant build. Really well thought out. You must be so happy.
Fantastico 👍

Sweet ! Nice work ! Where did you get that shut off valve ?
Thanks Jeff.
Which receiver did you end up sticking with?
20 ch power safe with AS3000 gyro

How did you tie the batteries in Jeff? Thanks
Thank you for your video. Great info! So sad Spektrum eliminated the gyro port on their latest R/X versions. Nice/clean build!
Andy, these are probably 17 or 18 year old don't know if they still even make them but they were standard equipment in all jet cat Motors in the day.
