iam in one of the emmaus hostels, in london we can clame housing benifit ,however we must sign off other benefits, we get an allowence every month ,i get around 38 pound a moth ,does not sound much, however we get free food free electicity free heat and free wifi, at emmaus we do in house work, that is working in one of our shops, i was hommless before i came to emmaus, its a good charity to give to ,money or clother or electronic stuff.
It's not much. Not what you want at the low point of your life.

They take all and any benefits you get like disability living allowance and all others and give you like £25 every 2 weeks or something like that
Well I know quite a lot of people that have lived in this place and others and most of what I HAVE said is what THEY HAD TOLD ME Actually
@@bluenomad what happens if you want disability living allowance PIP???? That gets taken… So out of over £1300 a month you get a tiny little bit of cash every week!?!?!? Hmm
@@bluenomad one pack of tobacco 30g is 17 to £20 so if you smoke your Fu cked and you roast coz of the Pidley little bit of money a week lol that’s not good is it
@@bluenomad dental rent and all that’s free anyway if your on benefits plus you can get food to eat 4 nothing at the Trinity Centre ie homeless centres plus food bank. Most the things you’ve said about you get free anyway mate and that’s a fact
@@bluenomad yes but you leave skint and have to sort all your benefits out again if you want to leave at any time… I’ve mates that have lived there and they have told me what happens there
