also if you press < or > it will change the minimap scale :)
For endgame farming where you'd be using a large number of crops I've found that so long as your crops are fully grown you can attack them with weapons to harvest them faster than picking them with E. Especially quick if you think about something like an atgiers special attack covering such a large area at once.
When splitting a stack, left and right arrow keys will increment the slider

You can also change the slider with wasd but this also moved you around
You can also type the number of items you would like to grab.
@@brandongeertson7346 Oh that is so weird I haven't noticed that before. I use a steam controller to play, and its hard to believe I've never tried moving the stick with that screen open! I'll have to check that out, thanks.
@@vidrax_de Yeah I knew about this, but I'm using a SC to play and it is pretty hard to hit those numbers fast enough.. like, any double digit number needs to be typed within like a half second, or it just becomes a one digit number. TBH, I wish I could use the scroll wheel, but as someone else pointed out here, apparently WASD also will increment the slider. Not tested it yet.
The command to bind emotes to buttons was the only thing I didn't know yet. I'm SO gonna do that haha
if you press the keys '','' and ''.'' you can zoom in and zoom out the minimap!! ;)

I use my two mouse side buttons for the map and to holster/pull out my weapons.
Ah nice, I have map on thumb "back" and secondary attack on thumb "forward" (I don't like default middle mouse), very comfy!
Switching to your hammer is faster than putting your weapons away. It could save your life someday.

I recently found out that you can animation cancel club, knife and battleaxe attacks by having an emote hotkey because emotes cancel the attack animation and the same goes the other way so you can have really fast attacks

Guys, one update, if you change in settings an option to change between click to run or hold to run (shift, don't know Right now the name of the option) you can use Q to auto-walk and then press shift once to auto-run, but you can only do it towards original direction
Wish I had seen this video when I first started playing lol...had to learn all these the hard way.

I didn't know about auto pickup. VERY handy in this game. Something I'm gonna hafta train myself to do but well worth the effort, both in world and building at home. Think, running through a previous biome where you really don't need wood and dwarf eyes.
You DO need greydwarfs eyes, they are useful in a mid to late game.
You never don't need wood.

One of the Best ideas for developers to be taken into consideration is to import some QOL improvements taken from so many mods. Such as crop management, advanced building features, Raft Nomad mode, and more... Just dreaming.
Versy usefull hot-key is when you see slider to change amount of stuff you want to move from inventory, press the number button to set the exact amount. You should fast press number combination to set a number more then 9.
I've got 200+ hours and never knew about emotes 😂

By pressing WASD, you can stop standing completely still and instead move around the game

what about dodge?
Right click (or block) + space (jump) at the same time to dodge. You can also rclick + wasd+ space to roll in a certain direction.
I really wish they tied dodge to a hotkey...I'm gonna try that bind command and see if it works

- Prefer gaming on mouse & keyboard on consoles and/or just want the same freedom of choice that PC has? "LoLz, no, we removed that for you. Why? Because we think making a gaming platform that ALREADY has less freedom and options already even less free and gimped is hilaaaarious!", smirked the devs.
- Looking for custom input binds, because your disability can't use the TWO (!) layout schemes without discomfort?
Or maybe the reason you might be so outlandish and bold to want to change something to what suits you better is the mind-boggling discovery that someone thought that since they had removed your choice for type of controls already, then disabled your small comfort with personalising binds/settings to your liking they should also force console plebs to use as many input modifiers as possible...

Maybe you kids don't know what a "hotkey" means but all I keep hearing is "click, click, click" ... hotkeys are specific keys that do actions, not mouse and key combos lol
