In this Semi-Final round, we've got some great matchups, like Argentina vs Canada and Uruguay vs Colombia. With these 2 matchups, the tournament is still filled with compelling storylines: like can Argentina win back-to-back Copa Americas to cement them as the Greatest National team of ALL time? Can Canada pull off the greatest upset in football history? Can Darwin Nunez lead Uruguay to glory? Will Colombia finally win their 2nd-ever Copa America title? I completely agree with you on that one. I think Colombia have shown a very solid level overall. Even if they might struggle a bit against uruguay or argentina, I do think they could win their second copa america. I will definitely support them. James is incredible
Feel like Argentina is a team that seems to conserve their energy until they get deeper into a tournament. They rarely win by more than 2 goals in the earlier part of the tournament. Observed this in the World Cup where they just gradually got better from the shock Saudi loss until the 3-0 against Croatia and that game against France where they were cooking initially, at least.

It will be tough but I see Argentina winning this Copa again. Even though Messi is not always in the game he is still unpredictable and can perform magic at any time. Argentina will not want to make any unnecessary mistake at this crucial stage. That Lionel Messi penalty miss against Ecuador i believe would have woken up Lionel Messi and Argentina by now in case they falling asleep.

In Copa America Peru 2004, Argentina defeated Colombia 3 to 0. In WC South American eliminations, it is Bielsa led Argentina y Chile 4 wins to 1 tie. Two friendlies, one win each.
Last time, Colombia defeated a Bielsa national was in 1999. Colombia has not defeated Bielsa led national teams in 25 years.

IMO Canada does have a good team, but that Ecuador game was prob a wake up call for Argentina, the problem in that game was that Scaloni did not rotate the left side of the team enough, Ecuador took advantage of that and overwhelmed Us until getting a cross in and scoring, if scaloni is the great coach that he is, he will sure fix that mistake, soooo I think Argentina win 2-1 vs Canada, meanwhile Uruguay vs Colombia will go to penalties, and Uruguay will win

Uruguay vs Colombia is the flip of a coin but I think in the end, Uruguay will go through, they have by far the most physical team in the entire tournament that can tactically overwhelm the opposing side easily, and while they will be missing Araujo for the semi final, they have shown to probably have one of the best defenses that Brazil really struggled to breakthrough. On top with having a midfield that can consistently get the ball to Darwin who is a sprinting machine, while ALSO having Valverde in that midfield lineup, I just feel like there’s a lot of things going for them and ALSO showing that they are decent penalty takers.
