I also have pinched nerve in my neck and carpal tunnel. I also injured my hip. What can I except from my case? What is my injuries considered at this moment?

Hello. It is difficult to offer any insight without actually reviewing the records of your case. Is your case a Georgia case? My practice is limited to representing clients in Georgia - if it is and you are not currently represented please contact me directly at jodiginsberglaw (at) gmail.com. If you are not in Georgia I would suggest that you contact a lawyer in your state.

I have a disc protrusion in neck. C6-C7. MRI shows this. Company's IME is telling me I need an EMG to prove that my injury causes pain to approve workman's comp. So annoying.

I don't disagree. But keep in mind that a diagnosis (i.e., a disc bulge or even a herniation) does not always translate into an inability to work. I would think, however that an EMG showing nerve conduction issues would put this issue to rest. As you can see, however, the insurance company will fight you on anything they can.

Hello Jodi I'm in the 3rd year of my work injury case and my doctor has finally recommended I'd get 2 of my discs replaced in my lumbar spine. My question is do you have rough estimates on what my claim will be worth and possibly how soon can I settle. Currently my doctors decision has been challenged with a court date set for this month with me predicting a win for me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to say with limited facts. What is your TTD rate? Do you have a permanent partial disability rating? How long have you been receiving TTD benefits? Is your case a Georgia case. Not trying to deflect but I don't have enough info to comment.

Thank you for your response I'm very appreciative of your time and knowledge. My TTD rate is 50 a day I believe. No ppd rating yet. I've been on restrictions since day one but on my next doctors visit I'm going to ask him to mark me as disabled as the injury is so severe. Havent received any TTD benefits but my lawyers are currently waiting on opposing council to sign our stipulation so I can finally receive them. I agreed to half of what they owed me to Settle out of court with a guarantee.
