Not bashing the kid, but you have to understand where Manny came from. That was his underlying drive to push him to where he is today. That doesn't necessarily mean his son doesn't have the same drive. But for Manny, he said it himself, training and boxing is easier than being poor. I hope if his son does take up boxing, that Manny will teach him everything he's learned. Would definitely be great to see son follow in dad's footsteps and carry on the Pacquiao legacy. Pac at this point has nothing to prove. The one and only 8x time division and people's champ. 41 yrs old and this man is in better shape than most boxers in his age group, not to mention most of them retired. Best attribute about him, is his humbleness.

Floyd wasn't poor but he has great work ethic in him. Everybody has their own path to greatness i guess. For Jimuel to be a good boxer, he has to want it, I don't think he has that in him right now.
He would be like the son of Chavez Sr., fought against no name guys then when he fought to the real top fighters, he can't win. I'm not against to Jimuel(Manny's son) but i think different path than boxing is much easier choice. You need a drive to success in this type of sports, the hungry you are, the more will you want to success.
