Strange to see those wheels come off.
Did a quick online search for the manual (Makita LXT 36V Battery Lawnmower 38cm DLM382Z ?). Not a word in it about the wheel attachment. Odd.
Except at Amazon online reviews are not positive, to put it mildly. Telling about the overall poor build quality of this machine. Esp. the wheels, which btw are not covered by the warranty.
I would have expected more from Makita.
You best anticipate on buying a replacement, and not spend money on repairs.

@MartinasLife OUCH!! So sorry to hear that. I would have expected more from a brand like Makita. Although Kärcher as my high pressure washer wasn't all it was cracked up to be either.
There are a lot of 'Best of 2023' reviews online the last few weeks. But those often value the Makita too. And there are several brands with the same flimsy wheel construction as the Makita. That makes me a bit apprehensive as to the value of online reviews.
For my money I would :
1. do a quick Google on "best battery lawn mower self propelled Europe" or similar to get a shortlist and according reviews.
2. view the clips on RUclips. Must do : very useful!!
3. then search for the manual to see if it makes any sense. (add filetype:pdf)
After Step 1 I'd probably end up with choosing between :
- Husqvarna LC 347iVX
- Bosch Universal Rotak 36-550
- Stihl RMA 339 C
After Step 2 & 3 I'm less sure. The YT-clips are an eye-opener.
Also watch out for nasty surprises like the Gardena PowerMax 32/36V P4A needing two batteries to run, but having only one charger. And most mowers come without batteries and charger anyway. So always go for the more powerful batteries.
For starters I'd also ask around a bit about what neighbours use.
And especially where they go for parts and repairs.

the threaded stem is not a good solution, because it cannot be fixed sufficiently. It would break again over time. I'm sorry
