What happened?
Jason, you did not make a mistake doing all the engine work on the Volkswagen. You’re looking at the big picture instead of a patch up situation. You’ve said it’s for Mary to drive and, especially for a young driver, you want that vehicle to be as safe and reliable as possible. The last thing you want is her sitting on the side of the road, broke down, waiting for you. I think you knew that on a deeper level even if you didn’t actively think it. The tractor is there when you get to it. That’s farm life. Mary Carls safety is always most important. ❤

Please Lord send rain to our area of West Texas without rain since 5-20-2024and we endured temps daily over 102 average 107, and up to 113. We are so grateful of temps below 100 for 4 days now!

It’s better to be safe than sorry for MC ! And hands on will be better in the long run on the tractor and the bus, smart thinking ! Seeing the chickens eating the worms and bugs just clucking and the black chicken was so funny eating! Snow White seems so content and looks so much better , she is a beauty for sure ! One of the biggest reasons I loved working on a ranch was that, for the most part, there is no time other than the flow of the seasons. Whatever you are doing, it takes however long it takes.

You are a good man, Jason of Cog Hill. No fault that I see. My husband used to work of Massey Ferguson tractors in a shop. He always said, they could have put a part on for $2 but instead they ran it until it caused $600 worth of damage. Smart move on your part to do it right first time and then learn yourself. Mornin y'all☕️🍳 watching this to keep me company while having my breakfast after coming in from farm chores. Its been record setting heat and drought here on our farm as well(ne ky) Our pond has dropped way down. Barn fans on is a must and definitely multiple water refills throughout the day, things here are getting crunchy and brown. I have to go to the garden now and pick the tomatoes in for making juice later. Have a awesome day coghill and everyone. Give that boss lady som pig peaches some love for me❤🍑🐷

Good Morning! I'm fairly new to your channel, just since you moved to the new property. Found you through Lester. I was just wondering where the name Coghill came from? At a guess I'd say cause your farm runs as smooth as a cog and a wheel?
It's the name from their previous street they lived on😊
The street their farm was on before they bought THIS property was Cog Hill road and so they called their little 7 acres Cog Hill Farm.; then when they moved they just kept the name and call this farm the same, aka the Cog Hill 40 ( 40 acres)

FYI.. One bee keeper said to put a clean, unscented, Swifter cloth in hive for Beatles. The cloth binds up the Beatles legs, they get stuck and die. They do not harm or bother the bees.
