Every dermatologist review of her skincare line that I saw was surprisingly positive, they’re usually really harsh with celebrity skincare lines so I’m really interested in trying it since!
Her skincare line got hated on for no reason. It really has great formulations, I haven’t actually used it but if it ever starts being sold in stores in my country I’m definitely grabbing the peptide fluid! Hailey has just invested money on a good brand, months ago people were running around acting like the products contained water from Chernobyl.
I actually love all of the products from Rhode! ❤ The only thing I haven’t tried is the barrier restore cream. I just can’t bring myself to buy another moisturizer that I may not love. Otherwise, all of the lip treatments, milk and glaze are the best! Chefs kiss 👌
@@myname-gf7lt Absolutely! I have some options that I use right now. I have combination skin so I personally keep the moisturizer light when I apply. When I’m using Rhode Milk & Glaze I’ll follow it with Ginzing oil-free Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer by Origins. If I need a little extra moisturizer I’ll use Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream. It’s thicker. the last option I’ll use is Goop Glow, Glow Lotion by Goop Beauty. It gives a nice glow. Depending on the day and my needs. They all have given me beautiful results in my routine. I highly recommend them!
@@myname-gf7lt I currently use the neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer & I love it. It doesn't make your skin greasy, it's light & bouncy but still keeps your skin hydrated. But it all depends on what you're looking for & how your skin is. My skin is on the dryer side
You do need to remember though skincare especially is very personal, what works for one person might not work for you. I have dry skin and I love rhode but one of my friends has sensitive skin and it broke her out so just keep that in mind.

My skin is dry but not acne prone and i’ve never had an issue with rhode, never broken me out, never caused a reaction. But just because multiple people said it broke them out doesn’t mean that’s the same for everyone, we have different skin types and different things our skin reacts to. That’s why I follow creators with dry non acne prone skin because that’s what my skin type is, so whatever works for them possibly could work for me too but again everyone is different!

One thing I found really important was that she explained that she has acne prone skin and how one of the ingredients in the skin milk (im pretty sure it was skin milk) that was comedogenic aka acne triggering. Also if you look through reviews you’ll see that her products broke a lot of people out. I’m not saying that it happens to everyone, but if you have acne prone skin, it’s definitely not for you.

@@nemish22 it’s not bad it’s just true. I never said fillers are bad, i just think it’s important to stay grounded because if she feels bad about her thin lips, it’s important to remember they’re normal and what the media normalizes isn’t always genetic lol

I wanted to love this soooo bad as an acne prone dry skin girly. But I started breaking out from it. I looked and it has coconut oil or something similar in it that’s comedogenic.
Have you used it since this video? Also has the lippie broke down or had mold like many people have. Also I know many had had reaction to the tree nuts oil in it. And sensitivities to the other stuff in it did you have any reactions?
I wonder because the brand has continued as usual even teased a new product, yet the CEO quit a few weeks ago, also Scooter Braun is a major investor but all his major stars left his management in what seems like not great terms, including Justin Bieber. Its funny how the business/money side of the company is “messy” but in social media has been doing pretty good.

@@stealthis no they had allergic reactions. chemical burns are caused by corrosion like battery acid and gasoline and the brand literally wouldn’t exist anymore from the degree of lawsuits if the products somehow had corrosive substances
I have tried products form her and they aren't bad in my opinion but there are drugstore products that are just as good for less. No hate to the products or brand but there's nothing special about these products.

I Don't recommend the BRC (barrier restore cream). It's so thick & it does not work well under makeup. I hated it personally

I LOVE Rhode it’s just so good for my skin and it’s genuinely some of the best skincare I’ve ever tried. Not had a breakout since using it !
