I remember it well. And then a few years later the economy collapsed here because of Jimmy Carter and his oil deals with Iran and everyone was screwed. (Biden part 2). 8 year old houses for sale for $20,000 and nobody had any money to buy one.

Traffic has always been That way ,it's a very popular Christmas visit ,it's like renfest ,you park in a field ,if its been raining parking in certain fields become problematic , it is an absolute blast ton of fun and christmas sights,music great seasonal food ,yummy made real hot chocolate ,coffees and Christmas sweets, bummer you didn't wait you sure missed the fun folks!

Went yesterday (12/02/21) on a Thurday evening. Bought tickets while on sale and got the rudolph parking lot pass. We had a blast!!!!! I agree that IT IS confusing when looking for the correct entrance for each parking lot! Prancer lot is first and if you pass it then its Rudolph parking etc..
They shoulda had it at the Astrodome. Traffic would be the least of their problems. LOL! Or how about go shopping instead, at the Galleria and get mugger or stabbed in the parking lot?
