Have been a fan of The Troggs since I first heard "Wild Thing" blasting out of my little transistor radio in 1966. I don't have any of their proper albums but do have a very comprehensive double CD comp entitled 'Archeology (1966-1976)'. Was not aware of their collaboration with REM! Will have to give that one a listen for sure. Thanks, Iain!

Z eb is correct, The Troggs was 1975 not 1979, you have the correct date in the description but not when speaking.

@@Iainrankingtheobscure But Hip Hip Hooray was released as a LP in UK, I even got the remaster with bonus track (NONE of the tracks is on other albums, so its not a comp, It is a standard release from 1968 ( I noticed wiki and elsewhere doesnt really list it, weirdly enough)

Allmusic.com has a review "Hip Hip Hooray Review by Richie Unterberger" which explains why the album is not listed on The Troggs own website or on other websites as a valid Troggs studio album.
"Hip Hip Hooray is actually a retitled and slightly resequenced reissue of the Troggs' 1968 U.K. album Mixed Bag (which never came out in the United States), tacking on 11 CD bonus cuts from 1970 and 1973 singles."
Since we are taking The Troggs own website discography listing as the definitive list, Hip Hip Hooray doesn't count.
