This is exactly how we pictured ourselves during recess in 2001. To the normal eye you’d just see a bunch of 8 year olds running around, playing and yelling at a school ground but if you could see inside our minds, this video is exactly what was going on
The Buu saga aired on Toonami in 2001 and I remember some kid at school had bubble gum and he called it Buu but I wasn't into DBZ at the time so I had no clue what the fuck he was on about.

This is amazing. There are more dynamic shots, and uses of angles and scale, then any big movie today. This feels like old film making and it makes me very happy
It has old-school power rangers and batman. It's so good. It is truly an excellent execution of 'bad'/C movies. Like it is legitimately good, even though it is made to be cheesy. So many layers of awesomeness
The SS2 Gohan was the best by far, the scream is always so perfect. And him just running up to the Cell Jrs and kicking them is probably my favorite moment.
i love how there's no cgi and the costumes and practical effects are just made with random stuff they had like imperfect cell's mouth being made from a basketball, it really shows how just some guys being passionate about it could make something pretty awesome
It honestly makes sense that no one would think Piccolo was an alien, what with all the talking pterodactyls, dragon people, man-wolves, androids, moon-destroying martial arts masters, etc., that exist in the Dragonball universe, and the list just goes on and on.

This was more than I could have dreamed of. The commitment, the shots, the effects, the action figures. Just perfect. My only criticism was that I wish that they had 100% committed to doing the full fusion dance flawlessly. It was good, but it woulda been funnier if it was perfect.
This live action DBZ summary far exceeds both live action Dragon Ball films: Dragon Ball the Magic Begins 1991 & Dragon Ball Evolution 2009. For amateurs the actors did alright, costumes are surprisingly recognizable, special effects were awesome for being constructed & not CGI, editing was well done, sound effects were superb, but what takes the cakes is how campy the video was! As a fan of the Dragon Ball franchise from the original series through today thank you for all the time which was placed into this project, in just over half an hour you explained all the plot points of DBZ!
