I do hope taunts become a new meta like break, it could be very fun, like a support that makes one of your allies taunt all enemies.
You would need taunt on top of another source of damage like yunli bc broken enemies attack less and it also stops u from using ice and img element
And enemies that always doesn't blast & AoE . Gorilla is a best example of this . Although I hate his Atk went team use skill . Making Yanqing & Jingliu in trouble .

As a whale who will pull for both and even E1 on Yunli, I'm glad you put up one point for Yunli that other people don't say:
Yunli doesn't have a dedicated support (Counter type support). Her potential is most likely not reached yet, but that's also a gamble, since we have some characters that did not receive any support (Blade, Argenti)
I'm actually excited to see Yunli and counter type improve.
Blade literally has the strongest supports,Bronya, HuoHuo, Tingyun and Sparkle. Take a pick.
Next to that he can act as a sub DPS because he is overwhelmingly SP positive.
@@janhoorne6002 By support, I mean specific to his playstyle, which is damaging himself to pump out more DPS. Even Jade couldn't help him in that department and that's the closest thing we got. Huohuo and Sparkle are just good in general. What Sparkle can do for Blade, she can do better for others.
Blade isn't weak, but he's certainly not in the upper levels of DPS charts. And with the rise of very specific team comps (Acheron requiring 2 Nihility, FF having a very strict break team, hyper carry dual harmony teams) Blade as a Sub-DPS just isn't as viable anymore.
I'm a Blade stan, always have been, but Hoyo forgot about him.

real dilemma is huohuo or lingsha bc I only have aventurine as a limited sustain atm and,,,, if I wait for early access lingsha to be analysed huohuo will already be gone ;-;
I'd say it depends on your team, Huo² for DoT teams and Lingsha for another certain teams(won't say any leak) , just go for one that you want/need honestly since both of them excel in two different comps.

i changed huohuo for aventurine, he’s good but there was still a slight chance for them to die, blackswan just got knocked out yesterday because every mobs decided to only attacking her
@@nguyenduythang7598 use knight of purity set, def chest, sphere and rope (even def boots if u have enough spd substats to get to a reasonable speed) and skill every 3 turns or so to have the shield from the fua and the skill both active (a team should never die with a defensive aventurine)
I'm actually torn between Yunli & Houhou, I already have a well built clara, and for the sustains Loucha and Fuxuan. Thanks for the vid now my decision is firm I'll go with Yunli. Now I'll go for Lingsha for 2.5 for another sustain
same for me i have a clara and i like counter units. but the problem is the yare both physical, if yunli wasn't physical i would 100 % pull for her but now it just feels like geting a 2nd clara

So the two elements right now that I'm most weak at is Wind and Lightning, no good offense for either.
Sustain wise, I have a lot but my two big stars are Gallager and Adventurine, and of course no wind because no Houhou. I have other ones, but not well built yet. Getting HouHou at this point rounds out my healers in a way that I feel completes the set, with the exception of reactionary health regen. (Adventurine covers reactionary shields.) But I'm okay to wait on that.
Physical wise. I have Clara, Boothill, Argenti, Luca, Hanya and Sushang. I'm so covered when it comes to physical damage characters I'm not even counting Trailblazer's orgional Path as part of my collection count anymore. I just need to build them.
I feel like it'd actually be harmful to my overall collection and build progress if I grabbed another physical character at this point, so I will be skipping Yuni and pulling for Hou hou.
Tbh I feel like Gallagher is good enough for now. I have used Fu Xuan + Bailu for a long time and now I am using Gallagher instead. He is good if you build enough speed so he keeps getting turns and charging ults
i would pick huohuo, because you dont have a cleanser like fuxuan and luocha (maybe a e6 lynx can care this)

If you don't have a good sustain go for HuoHuo.
DPS wise, new March 7th is pumping out numbers 5 star characters are.
To be fair HuoHuo is great with Yunli. Because to play Yunli you want to maximize her DPS related stats such as DMG and CRIT and it will leave her open for CC effects. HuoHuo has a auto cleanse.
Yunli also has a double ultimate bar like Argenti, which HuoHuo can take advantage of, since even if Yunli has her ult up and HuoHuo uses her Ult, it will not be wasted.
I also think Aventurine is a good sustain to play with Yunli, I mean he is great with Clara, so I would assume he is great with Yunli as well.
Does anyone know which "TAUNT" takes priority between Boothill and Yunli?
Boothill. His is a forced 1v1 like other "look at me" type taunts it makes that 1 enemy look at Boot, We need a 5 star march or 5 star Lynx to get a better targeted "look at them please" type taunt.

Huohuo can be replaced with Lynx or Gallagher... Also Lingsha is right around the corner too and she maybe SP positive instead of SP neutral (HuoHuo).
huo huo is not worth it if you already have 2 good sustain units --- compared to sparkle anyway
Sparkle because huohuo is easily replaced by other healers but no one does what sparkle does

@@DarkButterflyChikage She’s part of Argentis best team and it can usually decrease MoC clears by 1-2 cycles she’s better than Luocha but worse that Fu Xuan and Aventurine so it depends she’ll always have value but considering you already have 2 great sustains it’s really up to you

Honestly, I have 2 Limited Sustains (Aventurine and Fu Xuan) and Clara E2, this is a safe patch to skip and wait to see what the kits are for 2.5. I am excited for March 8th though, I think she will slot in nicely into some team comps.

@sanguinetales he needs E2 to shine in dot teams. He got nerfed hard in the beta testing, first time I've seen a character nerfed all 5 betas in a row.

@@velarde3412I would heavily suggest you to not focus on current banners too much even as a new player. It's highly likely that you would be able to grind to 10/12 rewards pretty quick even with F2P units. The last 120 jades would NOT compensate mediocre 5 star pull in a long run. Look for longterm investments to your account and decide properly, considering all current units+2.4 units+2.5 units that we will know in a couple of days. Every team has a total pull cost and some F2P replacements and your every pull need to significantly improve your comfort and clear power, ideally in all three game modes at the same time.
@@velarde3412 if you need that coverage now that’s definitely not a bad play at all. Personally for me Acheron is such a cut above everything else in the game that I need to get her to keep up
Late reply but only go for Feixiao if you already have the IPC team (aventurine, robin, topaz). She will replace Dr. Ratio as the dps of the team and topaz can be replaced with moze although topaz is better. Robin is necessary for feixiao to have big damage so instant skip if you do not have her.

I said yes worth HuoHuo is not only best healer but also help Tingyun with DPS that need ult battery most of the time . I mean all would love to ult constantly .
Preservation & Abundance is different kinds . Something you want only 1 of them in your team . Blade hate preservation except Fu Xuan . Yanqing want Shield .
She is better than Luocha in a term of utility .
If you like that team and dont care about powercreep, worth it. If you feel enough with your sustain, then better skip it for another char, since mihoyo likes to change meta frequently. I mean in patch 2.x we already have 4 teams that running: DoT, Acheron, FuA, and Break team.

I already have aventurine and Gallagher e6, i was planning to get huohuo to complete my dot team, I ain't interested in any character in the 2.4 and possible leak said that in the 2.5 we will have feixao with bs and in the second face lingsha with dr ratio, i already have bs and ratio of course and i ain't interested in the news one too, so i will just save to get robin and acheron in theirs rerun, u guys think its doable or i shouldn't pull for huohuo to guarantee them because i already have enough sustains?
if you have 2 limited sustain or 1 limited sustain and Gall just skip both and go for the supports, if you have all the support you need then get Yunli, easy

I'm waiting for Lingsha. I still have no trouble with Bailu for my 2nd team.
I believe they have already introduced new enemies that are moving faster or with tougher weakness bar. This is all to uptrend the counter playstyle like Yunli and Clara because by that time, the enemies will always have the upperhand no matter what you do. Instead of going faster than the enemies, they are encouraging a more defensive playstyle while dishing out the necessary damage.
As someone who returned to honkai during firefly banner and got her and ruan mei(played on launch for a bit before seele banner ended and was able to blaze through a years worth of content for gems) im def looking forward to getting yunli. I have my firefly, ruan mei hmc, and gally comp set but now im struggling for a 2nd team comp which yunli will fit quite well along with tingyun and lynx, still gotta figure out a 4th spot
The 4th spot could be the new form of March 7th, it seems she and Yunli will pair greatly considering Yunli will be attacking frequently.

Honestly a sustain is more useful since you can use it in any team. Physical dps can only be used on physical teams or atleast you are encouraged to only use it with physical weakness in mind
I pulled E4 Huohuo and I have no regrets ❤😂
She's my favorite character in the whole game so far and I use her on 90% of my teams so I'm really happy. The game was nice enough to give me her LC too (after I lost the 75/25 once 😵💫)
i'm clearing endgame content with 1 limited sustain and a well-built lynx, so at this point i want different ways of dealing damage. i wonder if lingsha will do more toughness/hp damage than gallagher can
Lingsha will have to be incredibly valuable since Gallagher as a free 4 star is so busted. She can't be slightly better, she needs to be clearly better to be worth 180 pulls potentially.
Or they design a bosses around the sustains' unique kit. Like AS Argenti doing cheap damage at the start, which is very clearly designed to punish players who don't have Aventurine.

My dilema is between Sparkle and Lingsha.
I need another sustain for my 2nd team, but i want to have the "fun factor" with Sparkle, as she is the last piece i need for my Qunny Team (Fu Xuan, Quinque and Silverwolf).
And because, Sparkle avoided me in her first banner with some dude with a guitar case.
Then maybe pull sparkle and pick up another sustain later.

I skiped Huo Huo in 1.5, my account already have 2 límited sustain.
I started playing at 2.2 (and trailblazer level 61), but it’s really hard to choose between yunli, sparkle and huo huo (I have bailu as the second sustainer, so I will be needing huo huo, meanwhile I need a good dps too (many of you may say that welt is really good character, but his skill being bounce-type makes him harder to use in MOC), as well as sparkle for my second dps in case if I will not like yunli/skip yunli/get huo huo)
Im new to HSR and dont have a limmited sustain. My current team is bronya, wind dan, fire mc, & natasha. Im definitely grabbing houhou and then wait for a dps. Is houhou's light cone a must get? Saved up 25k jades currently

For my account, i focus on building 2 teams
- FF/HMC/RM/Gal
- Acheron/Pela/Guinaifen/Aventurine
Considering i have only 1 5-star sustain character (Aventurine) even though my Gallagher is E6, I’m not sure how he’s gonna maintain his sustain role in long term.
Lingsha vs Huohuo
For Lingsha, if i pull for her it would make the Firefly team reach its peak performance and feels complete but then is it necessary? Can i keep using Gallagher instead?
For huohuo, the reason is just that i don’t have any 5-star abundance unit and maybe she’s great if i’m building new team like Dot team (i personally like its mechanic but i don’t even have kafka or blackswan)
Finally it leads to the last choice to skip them all and pull for Jiaoqiu because he is an obvious upgrade to my Acheron team (replace Guinaifen) and open room for any future Dot team which i really like.
I'm only have Clara as physical dps. My sustain is Fu Xuan, Gallagher, Lynx, or sometimes maybe Gerpard. My goals is collecting 1 limited character for each elements and have at least 2 limited sustain
I need Huo Huo but I want Yunli. ALL PHYSICAL DPS CHARACTERS BELONG TO MEEEEEE!
My line up technically requires neither of these characters but it is still a hard decision for me.
On the DPS side I have E1 Firefly, Ratio, Dan Heng IL, Argenti, Acheron, Jingliu, E1 Seele, E6 Qingque and Kafka + Black Swan. A lot of them still need to be built better and certain ones don't fare so well in certain content but the only element I often feel is missing is a proper wind carry so it may be best to wait for the return of Blade or for Feixiao.
That said, I have been pulling for people since launch and have not gotten a single Clara even though I've always wanted a counter style of FUA team. Obviously that makes Yunli a tempting pull as well. Then again, I could simply wait. It may take some time but eventually I am bound to get my missing Standard Banner characters as well and even if Yunli is stronger, I know Clara will still perform perfectly fine.
On the Sustain side I have E2S1 Fu Xuan, Aventurine, Luocha, E2 Gepard and E4 Gallagher. It's not like I am lacking anything specific here. Actually I also barely use Luocha anymore since getting Aventurine. There are very few situations where healing is preferred over shielding and he provides more value to my FUA team. That said, I also have the prime candidates that want Huohuo on their team like Argenti or the DOT duo. So I am certain she'd be a really good pull as well for me.

Ting Yun vs Pela on 4th slot def shred vs 2nd ult which is better?
I'm getting both, E1 HuoHuo and E2S1 Yunli. Always loved HuoHuo, but I started in 1.6. As fir Yunli thought she was mid, but then she grew on me.
Luckily I already have Sparkle as E0S1, so I can easily pull for HuoHuo. Investing in sustains and supports, are always worth it.
I was at 74 guaranteed for like a month and accidentally used a wish like 1 day before reset and got Jade :( Now that I heard Yunli is not auto-play friendly though that makes me much happier with the mistake :D
I'm getting Huohuo for sure! She's BiS for Kafka. And I struggle with keeping my team alive with my Fu Xuan and Gallagher on higher simulated universe runs. (Mostly because of the swarm king melting my Fu 💀)
I'm f2p focusing on two teams:
firefly/hmc/rm/gallagher
acheron/kafka/BS/sustain
My only sustain for kafka is lynx, so huohuo is the way to go.
I joined like a month ago played way to much and am TB 53. Only 5 stars I have are Gepard and Himeko, my main team rn is Gepard/Qinqque/Tingyun/Lynx. Shld i get Huohuo or Yunli, when I don't have a 5 star character banner DPS or healer?

honestly, if you like qingque a lot you could wait for sparkle, and your should try to remove gepard from your team, and invest heavily on lynx

I started on Huohuo's banner and lost my 50/50 to Bronya. Now I'm here to complete the circle and add Huohuo to my JIngliu & DoT team. Then we wait for Aventurine rerun (or another Shielder that could release in future).
I played most of the story with team of Pela, Fu Xuan, Welt and Clara. I have Ruan Mei and Bronya. But I need characters to do damage. Huohuo is one of my favorite characters story-wise, but I think I need to just save for Acheron 😿

Huo Huo is amazing but the one thing that sucks is she has no emergency healing. Besides that I love her so much and am glad I pulled for her before.
Cant speak to Yunli but she looks great, her banner looks great, her animations are cool, great voice, and I dont have Clara.
I want to add though, that if you need a sustain and arent loving Huo Huo, you are going to want to wait a little bit for more details on Lingsha.
I have Clara but I'd still pull for Yunli because:
1. I can have control over who to counter and when to counter.
2. Stronger, duh.
3. She's barefeet. Listen--it's because, traditionally in rpg, barefeet character is always perceived as strong or pro. And barefeet character feels light to control.

Although since Boothill is a break dps and Yunli is a counter dps, they wouldn't work together well at all... lol.
I think the first taunt takes priority but I could be wrong, you can test it with fire MC if you want

I have E1 Clara and I like the counter playstyle, I just don’t like Clara (probably lingering resentment for those 50/50 losses, haha). So I haven’t built her and was considering Yunli. But Huohuo is more important to me right now, mostly for my Kafka/BS team, so maybe I’ll consider Yunli on her rerun.
And while Lingsha might end up being a stronger healer (I haven’t been following the leaks closely so I don’t know). But I don’t think she’ll provide the kind of utility to DOT teams that Huohuo can.

Go get Sparkle first, then Keep using 4 stars characters while you save up jades a lot again for acheron is a better decision if I am you
I always found Clara’s playstyle frustrating but if Robin and Topaz are good teammates for Yunli then I guess I can borrow someone’s Yunli to test when she drops.

Debating on e1 huohuo considering an extra turn on her skill is huge
I really want HuoHuo for my Kafka team cause that cleanse would be very nice to have as they always get put to sleep especially against penacony enemies, but I already have Fu Xuan, Loucha, Gepard, Gallagher(built well) and Lynx. But I also need Sparkle for my Acheron team so I'm torn tbh. Anyone know how to use Loucha well for DoT, cause my team always get's put to sleep tbh.

I need HuoHuo for my Jingliu,Plus I have misha,TB,FireFly,Clara,Arlan,Xuexi and hook and I only have like Bailu and Lynx as a healer so I think HuoHuo would be better for my inventory(Someone help me)
I really need a Physical DPS but I need Huo Huo for my other teams to have variety of healers I do have Clara but I almost have all destruction characters 😭
Yunli is a hard pass, she can shine but it’ll never really compete with the teams HuoHuo are in.

we need more f2p destruction light cones. I already had to take the herta shop lc from Jingliu and put it on Firefly. Now it's the best f2p lc for Yunli as well? Ugh.
Save up your Undying Starlight for Clara signature lightcone it is on par with On the Fall of an Aeon S5 for the most part if you keep the passive up by getting hit or defeating an enemy which Yunli has similar kit to Clara so she can use it perfectly.
Battlepass destruction lightcone can be good as well but obviously not f2p. It is worth 10 dollars though since it has same base atk as Aeon as well.

Black swan rerun might be quite soon, speculated to be in 2 patches so it would probably be best to save for that

If you don’t already have a decent pool of limited 5* healers, Huohuo is easily the better choice.
If you already have a ton of limited 5* healers and are missing out on physical damage units, Yunli is a good choice.
If your overall roster is not lacking in options and you are just looking at Yunli vs Huohuo on their own merits, Huohuo is the better option as she is arguably the current best healer in the game.

This is a genuine question, but is the whole “you need 2 limited 5 star sustains” actually true? I’m mainly asking because I only have one (Aventurine) and was thinking of maybe pulling Huohuo but a lot of people say Gallagher is great and Lynx can be good so I was wondering if picking her up is necessary. My other reason for asking is because I want Jiaoqiu for my Acheron team and can only get enough pulls to guarantee one of them.
It is helpful, but personally I think that if you're reasonably comfy with your current sustain it's definitely the easiest category to put off pulling until you really like a character. If you can build your Gallagher or Lynx and make it work, especially already having Aventurine, you're good.
@@leasting It’s hard to gauge how comfy I am considering I haven’t got a lot of characters built but I’m trying to get some decent builds for them going and my poorly built Gallagher gets through at least MoC 10 consistently so he already feels like he can take me far. I’ll probably skip Huohuo then and see if I can build them before Lingsha comes out and see if I really do need the help. Thanks for helping me with a reply.

Huo huo just does so much as a healer and her LC just makes her busted
huohuo is mid at sustaining and buffing. skip for Lingsha. If you are not getting Yunli, you probably dont want huohuo either.
