I love how Lucinda has just taken you under her wing. Every video you can tell you’ve got a closer relationship and it shows in your riding. She understands your riding and knows exactly what to say/explain to get you to do the exercise.
She wouldn’t give you something to do she doesn’t think you aren’t capable of doing 💜

Lucinda seems to have taken a bit of a shine to you Meg. The two of you work so well together and your riding improves so much more each time. For Lucinda to say that you rode those two very special horses beautifully is high praise indeed. I can definitely see the confidence she inspires in you. She believes in you, we believe in you, all you have left to do is really believe in yourself!
Lucinda is a great teacher & deserves the world after what’s she’s been through. She’s a perfect mix of no nonsense teaching (for instance “come on then”) yet she has compassion & empathy (but not to the point where she doesn’t move you forward and leaves you stuck). She also gives clear instructions which I love, it leaves you in no doubt what she expects & is asking of you (for instance she says increase not decrease at the corner & at 5.17 onwards wow I could visually see that taking shape then. Also get closer to the oxer, contact, wait) Which then manifests in you being more confident & the beaming smile on your face does it for me 👏 You were sitting much deeper as well before the upright which was amazing. She’s right about visual learning because that’s how sports coaches work (sorry if you know this) they don’t have to know the sport that well to help the person they coach. I’m sure one of Andy Murray’s coaches said this. But I remember it from my coach training many years ago. You’re an amazing rider Meg, your videos are a pleasure to watch👏
I agree you did great job of writing exactly how so many of us are feeling. I am not from the eventing world don’t know Lucinda’s back story/history but would like to hear about it. As a jumper she does great job teaching jumpers especially with poles and grid work. I have feeling that lot of her students do well in show jumper.
shes what all coaches should be, she understands fear and apprehension, but at the same time knows what you're capable of and sets you up to succeed.
I always feel so motivated after watching your vlogs. You don't give yourself enough credit has a rider. You're incredible.

Great rides! Marley is epic 😍 I hope all those little plans you've mentioned of getting a foal from him and Dee come thru. And idk, Daisy sure is something, and you seem very comfortable on her despite the 17hh (I've ridden horses that size and it sure is a view!) Maybe you should make an offer before she's less green and more expensive! Just imagine how tiny yours would look next to her... and she's so chill and kind, I bet she'd love being an auntie when she's not taking you up the levels ❤

OMG!!! I watched and rewatched this loadsa times. Those horses are INCREDIBLE!!! I couldn’t stop looking at Daisys hind legs, talk about quick and powerful and how she self adjusted her striding was unreal!! That horse has got an amazing engine and the whole flog I was looking at the hind legs. Incredible. Infact I enjoyed it so much imma watch it again now❤

Really work on twisting more through your body and lifting up that inside shoulder. It makes the inside leg more effective, and helps get the weight of the horse more properly on the hind end. 🎉
